Can't seem to install mods into MP

Dear truckers,

 

I've just installed ets2 MP and made a new profile to start over and haul over the roads of europe.

 

Though I'd like to instal a sound mod for my Scania but the MP game does not detect any of the mods I have installed. I don't know what to do. Are mods restricted from MP? I can't bare the stock sounds!

The only mods which are allowed on ets2mp are the ones listed here.

Ah, thats sad... I wish I could use some scania sound mod on MP...

You could get air horns on the light bar and use the N key instead of the H key, you get them in the upgrade shop.

You can also download sound PLUGINS and they will work in multiplayer.

^I looked that up yes, honestly, it sounds terrible.I just want to use regular mods

^Well then sound mods wont work with multiplayer only plugs can. If you want sound mods for singleplayer i can give you links to that.
