Suggestion Name: Low Density Traffic.

 

Suggestion Description: Adding low density traffic.

 

Any example images: No.

 

Why should it be added?: Adding low density traffic would increase the realism and adding the penalties that are in the single player (crash causing, crashing etc.), drivers have to be more careful, the trolls will be trolls and will get kicked/banned just as before.

Hate to think of what europoort would be like with this, plus most people drive around like loonys so will no doubt cause problems like crashing or undertaking due to 1 player being in 3rd lane, AI in 2nd and u in 1st being overtaken and then some idiot to contend with at racing down the hard shoulder.

Maybe a low density trafic with no collision ... always on , so more realism for those who actually like it like that . trolls would not be able to do trafic blocks with them and blablabla ...

I don't understand why people think that they would have to re-write the code for AI traffic!!!!

Arma 1,2,3 all have AI that you can put into hosted multiplayer servers, just by clicking on the option to add friendly AI!!

The AI traffic is already written into the game, the server hosts for ETS2MP just turned the option off!!!

Because AI written in single player game, SCS not have idea when make ETS about online, so now every player drive like in SP but with mod what sends truck coords and data to MP servers and they relay it to nearby players (this is simple about how MP works) to the traffic - MP developers need to write the AI on server side to distribute they coords and parameters to all players (in general it like more 5000 players on server, just controlled by scripts) so it's a lot of network traffic and load to server core, and it's not work if the dev just start to resend AI data to all nearby players from all players - that make lag, collision and your game just go out because in locations with 5 players who have 10 car nearby - this is total of 50 cars what not know about each other (except your own 10 cars controlled by your PC) so they need to take code from client and impliment it to the server, adopt and test it. And again it's a heavy load to all (CPU,NET)
