Snow mod problem?

Good evening, 

 

I seem to be experiencing what looks to be a bug, but correct me if I am wrong. On the Multiplayer client in settings, I have the snow mod unchecked, and didn't choose to download the mod when installing Multiplayer. When spawning into Multiplayer the snowfall effect appears on screen still.. it gets quite frustrating to drive with after a while, ha. Just curious to see if anyone else is experiencing this and if there is any solution. 

 

(I was going to post in the bugs section, but wasn't sure if it was essential there, if it's just a simple fix)

You have to untick "seasonal effects" in the multiplayer mod's settings .

Thank you, but I have already got that option un-checked. That is why I can't understand why it's occurring.

The snow particles are under the setting weather effects.

 

For some reason, the snow particles are not a part of the winter mod, but were also added at the same time
