Cannot validate game version

I can't play since new patch, I have that "Cannot validate game version. Would you like to try again?" error. I reinstalled both game and multiplayer but it doesn't work. Before that patch everything worked fine. I have the latest ETS patch and the latest multiplayer launcher. Everything is up-to-date! I'm sure antivirus and firewall is not blocking anything. Running with administrator privileges won't help.

Hello, Are you sure you have opted out of all BETAS? I also would recommend you validate your steam ETS2 files (Library/right click game and go to properties/Local files/Verify the integrity of game cache). Check to see if your anti-virus/firewall is blocking anything? This has worked for me in the past.

As I said before, antivirus and firewall don't block anything. All betas are opted out. "All files successfully validated".

I have that problem to i thought its maybay because i'm running windows xp but if other people have the same issues (i also updated everithing!)

Is that antivirus Kaspersky Internet Security or anything related?

No, I'm not using any antivirus. The system is completely clean, just some win 7 updates and steam. Nothing else.

I had the same problem with that pop up box. It seemed to work when I clicked no and then relaunched the game as administrator.

Also, please check your Internet connection. The "Cannot Validate" message will show if you try to launch ETS2MP when your network is restricted or has no Internet connection.

I'm having the same issue on Win10 and BitDefender.

 

And doesn't look like its my anti-virus.
