Guest
Sorry, but this was suggested multiple times, with different names, and they were all rejected: https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/15450-cb-2-way-voice-chat/ https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/17264-truck-radio/?hl=radio https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/12488-global-cb-warings/ You'll see that, in every post, people suggested using the TS3, or skype, or another similar software. OBJECTION > https://forum.ets2mp.com/index.php?/topic/19169-a-device-that-allows-drivers-to-talk/ was accepted ! (But this doesn't mean that I agree with that, my reason in one word : LAGS, -1). I like the concept of this, it would make it easier to get in touch with fellow truckers, to stop trollers etc there should be an option to record the voice communication and then report if anything is said on it. ---- +1 At least you do what you do when you get rammed, record using an external software and then : http://ets2mp.com/index.php?page=report&do=create
BritishTeaBag
I have always wanted this since I started playing eurotruck, Although the language barrier would be a problem, you could have certain 'Channels' For the different languages

Guest
I just personally use a TS server as it is just easier, rather than only being able to people nearby, you can just talk to the people you want to. Another point is how it would be moderated. It could just be a big mess with several different languages etc... And moderation of the communocations would put even more of a workload on admins. It definitely seems like a good idea, but it won't be simple to implement. Possibly a different channel for each language?

Zyder
This would be pointless with the amount of people speaking different languages. If your German, and you have a Russian trying to speak to you, what chance have you got of understanding them. It would also get annoying after a while, unless you get a Mute Option. Still a -1 from me unfortunately. sgpch1983
as i see, no one has any idea how CB Radio works... there are channels.. one for every language, one for emergancys.. germans for ex. usally use channel 9. i would be alot more realistic/bandwide friendly to talk only to the people around you (size to be determined). besides i dont want to talk to everyone (many languages in one chatroom, cross speeking).. if i do a convoy (which i dont), i for sure meet them all on a private teamspeak. i see no use in ets2mp ts.. but many use in a CB like radio. lets just all have patiance as this was allready aproved at an other time. lets see if and whan it really gets implemented. besides.. i vote for external - maybe opensource software to realise this if any exists.. that way the admins would not have to programm something new. edit: i forgot to say, that one only switches channel if hes able to speak the languages.. so no russian ever would be in the german channel for example. or just make it unswitchable besides emergency channel or so. admin choice.
