Suggestion Name: Community paint job pack / paintjob support
 

Suggestion Description:  A supported paintjob mod pack which include virtual companies paintjobs, and maybe personnal ones too, which players want to share. Submitted for approval. New content added regularly. Maybe once a week.
 
Any example images: No need I guess.
 

Why should it be added?: For the virtual companies, to have their own paintjob, with name on it. Good for the immersion aspect. For any player, to share their work on paintjob making.

 

I know it has already been suggested, and declined for some reason. But, like the winter mod recently added, I think it's possible now. I may be wrong about it tho, but it seems that it works like in single player. There is a mod folder, where you can put .scs file in it. I assume that only winter mod works. Because the multiplayer mod accept this one only. So it could support any other mod if you choose to.

I just ask for one kind of mod, and it's paintjobs. It could be added like the winter mod, and work the same way than any DLC. If players don't have it, it just doesn't show up. If it's possible to support any paintjob mod, and if not, just support a "community pack", with only virtual companies paintjobs, and any other if you want, added regularly, but it doesn't need the multiplayer to be updated each time I think.

I like the idea, but considering there is 16000+ companies registered at MyVTC.net I wonder how viable it would be to include paintjobs for each company.

 

I would suggest to adjust the idea for supporting a custom ETS2 Multi Player paint job, which we should vote a winner for in a contest for ETSMP paint job

There are problems with downloading snow mods adding paintjobs uploaded by players will make mods package few times bigger - and this package will be mandatory one. In beta - we have plans for something like that, for now - unfortunately no.
