BasicallyMental Posted December 16, 2015 Report Posted December 16, 2015 Suggestion Description: To add in the AI that is in the original game ETS2 such as cars, trucks, buses so on (But not as much)Any example images: None really needed.Why should it be added?: As it would make some roads more lively and although this being a truck simulator, trucks get a bit boring every so often (Even though I love them) and it is nice to see some variety in something, such as cars added to the road. As the game progresses along with Multilayer, the AI is getting better and better and I think this should be shown game-wide as it is in mods and so on. It would also make them horribly boring, long, lonely roads a bit more lively, keeping people awake and aware. These could also be a good lesson for some people as the AI may just end up rubber-banding the SLIGHTEST amount, making people learn to keep their distance and what to do if this does happen.If this were to come, there could just be less AI in certain areas or just less of them all together, and also maybe an option to enable/disable the AI as they may cause some lag. Think about the servers that would melt during the process of loading every single car on the whole map. THE WHOLE MAP. From Venice to Bergen. The servers wouldn't just melt. They would blow up. Think of my words, if anybody dares to try that out. 1

If you add the AI traffic, I don't believe the servers would be able to handle the whole thing. Just imagine it: Around 2000 players + Traffic.Nononono... Sorry! But we have troubles already, just with the human drivers With the AI, we'll be en route to a "Highway to h..." (You know where, like the song. ) 1
