I did do that and for the last 5 hrs iv been trying to get it to the right version which mp wants 1.27.2.1s and i installed that but for some reason mp does not see that i have that

Try these:

• Restart your computer and try if it works after that.
• Uninstall TruckersMP. Make sure you delete these two folders: TruckersMP folder in ProgramData (C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP) and TruckersMP folder in Program Files (C:\Program Files\TruckersMP).
  Then re-download the mod. Run the installation as an administrator. When the installation is finished, launch TruckersMP as an administrator and see if it works.
• If non of the above solve the problem, try to switch ETS2 in to another version in betas. Then opt out of betas to go back to the newest version. Launch ETS2 in single player and ensure the version is 1.27.2.1s. After that try to launch multiplayer.
• Last thing you could try is to uninstall and re-install Euro Truck Simulator 2.

The latest game version is supported by TruckersMP so you can let your game be out of betas. (NONE - Opt out of all beta programs)

Hello @Groggie_, if you want to play online you must select the update  "Do not participate in any beta test".
To do this, follow these steps:
1) Go to your Steam library
2) Right click on your game Euro Truck Simulator 2
3) Click on Property
4) Click on "Betas"
5) And select  "Do not participate in any beta test"

game got updated. cant play mp at the moment. tried both temporary public beta and dont participate in any beta test. non of them work...

tried all 3 beta option no luck. uninstalled the game uninstalled the truckersmp. just stuck with this error. downgrade dont work

Im having the same problem, there is no option in the beta to downgrade to the right version :/

even i downgraded, it showed me 1.27.2.3s ingame :/ but the problem is truckersmp app showed 1.27.2.1 as installed version.

New version (1.27.2.8) out for ETS2. Because the update is for the new Steam achievements, downgrading to the supported version isn't possible.

Hello @MarianKotleba,

 

Downgrade your game won't work. You'll have to wait for TMP Devs to update the Mod.

When you will update TMP?
