Yes you´re right, some day the server worked that way, and wasnt so bad at all. But later, it started having lag issues, huge lag issues which made playing impossible. Dev-team started making some tries and finally realize the server got lag issues (dancing trucks all over the place) above 2400 players, so that was the only solution till they can afford better servers.

It's not a case of money but a case of an issue in the code somewhere, it's a difficult thing to optimize.

^ It's jokingly been said we could use a E7 instead, but those are prohibitively expensive, more hardware isn't always the answer.

Ye, i hate that! It was working fine! liers... Yes, like every 50 th person were pinging but i don't mind it! I have a good internet connection speed and i can run them really smoothly. Just ban other people that has these issues. IT'S NOT FUN ANYMORE WHEN YOU MET A PLAYER ONLY EVERY 20 MINS. (In full 10 mins...)

You clearly did not play during peak hours during that time. It was anything but fine.

I did. When the server is full, go to etc. England - it's just a wasteland...

 

Yes, the rotterdam maybe is kinda popular but other countries are not anymore.

I want a stable server. Even if I have to wait!!! But even at 2300 slots server sometimes not very stable.

 

 

If mwl4 and the team will be able to solve the problem at 2300, then 5000 will and slots! Let's wait.

Technically eu1/eu2 are one in the same so it's nearly 5000, just as shown in my video funny stuff happens :P server can handle 2 instances just not one big one

Oh from 3:50+- onwards I don't think is from the same period I just needed a way to end the video ;)

Really depends on the definition of "more".

If we got sever communication working we could implement a large amount of cheap powerful servers hosting 500-1500 for half the value you're spending now...

All you really need then is a nano with a ssd and 1gbps connection for resending files. The whole sever communication would add a few ms ping but for a good cause :)

And yes I know I said I'd do it (and prob will try still), but I've been too busy to actually do any damage on it.

I'm not quite sure why this point of view hasn't been raised yet, but - As of late, I have rarely seen the server above 1500 players on Europe 1. And that's as high as I've seen it - usually I only have seen 200-400 players online at a time.

Let me know if anyone has seen the server close to 2300, and what time - I want that many players!
