scorpia14
Just curious because I've seen some posts saying any map mod isn't compatible after 1.19 There are offline mods that are running 1.21 but they don't seem to work with multiplayer (http://ets2.lt/en/winter-is-coming-v-2-0/). So does anyone have a winter mod at all? Thanks guys!
scorpia14
I still haven't found a solid answer. Some people say that with the new sky and new updates the winter mod is not compatible and would need a lot of work to run again. However other people say it can be enabled in the settings menu still.
Sgt_Tailor
You can use older winter mod, but in this case you would need to downgrade your game. There are no current winter mods available for the current game version. I cannot wait for winter mod this year!
ThePridesHouse
The winter mod have always been in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer mod files but have never got activated on the game servers. I'm not sure if developers will activate the “winter mod” because it hasn’t been updated since January.
Scar
It's probably not going to happen unless they partner with another mod creator which can create a new winter mod suitable for MP. Scar | Retired Legend You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality. TRANSPORTER-
It would be shame if you don't get the mod working for the latest version of the game. But the best thing would be to just make the mod default for everyone since it's winter time.

I tried it, didn't convince me, so i disabled it and kept driving as usual. And the reason of "winter time"... Winter is not the same in Scandinavia than in Italy or France, so the mod should take that into account? If you remember last year's, activating the mod meant driving always on snowy roads, maybe that's how winter is in Oslo, but certainly not in Torino or Lyon. So, I'd agree to have a mod that changes appearance to look more "winterish", and even better if it changed some of the physics too, but always as an option that any player can deactivate if they don't want it, just like last year's winter mod.
