[FORUM] How to quote properly

Hello community of TruckersMP,

It has come to my attention that despite all the moderators who correct people posting wrongly, they still make the same mistakes. I'd like to learn you how to save a moderator some work, by using the correct way of quoting posts above you, using the quote function and also the multiquote function.

1. Replying to someone above you
1.1 Simply use (Shift + 6) followed by your message and eventually @<username> to notify them. Example:

1.2 If you wish to reply to a post which is not the last one, simply click the quote button next to the + button.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2. Multiquote
Used for replying to multiple posts

2.1 Click the + button to select a post for multiquoting. Example:

2.2 You can Multiquote as many posts as you like:

2.3 A button at the bottom-right corner will appear with "Quote x posts" After clicking it, the selected quotes will be pasted in to your reply. The button will appear at other threads if unused, making it possible to quote posts from other threads.

Please note that if you are the last poster in a thread, you must use the edit function if you want to add content. You're allowed to bump a thread, which means posting a reply despite the fact you're the last poster in that thread, in order to move the thread up the forumsection. However, only once every 3 days. All these tips are related to the forum rules. Please take them in to account, it will make the forums more clear for everyone to use. If everyone would double post and quote the post above them using the quote function, the forums would become very messy.

Here's a quote of a handy tip from HumaneWolf:

Keep in mind that when replying to the last comment in a topic, use a " ^ ", rather than a full on quote.

You should also remove irrelevant parts of quotes and large images, to avoid unnecessary big quotes in your posts.
