Update Failure

I went to download the new version of multiplayer and when its all said and done. I click EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR 2 MULTIPLAYER  and it says: ''The program can't start because steam_api.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."    BUT I HAVE STEAM! I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you must re- install steam , because steam is missing a file, use RUN AS ADMINSTRATOR

1. Save your ets profile somewhere else like a USB drive or on another hard disk except C: ,(Your profile must be in C:/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/Profiles/

2. Remove ets2 from Steam Library->Euro truck simulator->Rich click and select delete local content.

3. Remove steam from your PC too

4. Download setup again and run it as admin

5. Login to your steam account and restart PC

6. Install ets2 again

7. Put your profile from where you extracted it earlier

8. Load up ets2 in single player

9. Play for a few mins

10. Quit ets

11. Close steam (Right click steam icon in taskbar and click exit)

12. Restart PC and wait for steam to auto log in you at your PC startup

13. Install mp mod

14. You should get the DLL by step 12.

You only have to update steam?      since that error is you have a very outdated steam version.

It's better to be safe than sorry m8, With that the issue will be 100% solved imo.
