0 ilike2mow
how do i keep my ping down it keeps kicking me offline pls help If you are on a wireless internet connection, try using a wired connection because the wireless will cause an overly high ping to the servers. 0 Unkeyboardinated
Your ping depends on your internet connection, if you dont have a good internet connection it will be higher, if you have a good one it will be lower, it get around 30 ping on EU1 Yes This Is A Rainbow, Problem? 0 videogamer
^ your ping also depends on the distance from your location to the location of the server because i have a friend that has a 40mb download speed and i only have a 4mb download speed but i have a lower ping that he does on ets2mp due to being closer to the server Edited July 13, 2015 by TheFlyingDutchman don't quote the message above add ^ or tag name

0 Sysgen
You need to open the command prompt first, that black window where you type text. Then you type the ping command.
0 Rom_Knight
If you have promblem with your pings, reconnect the internet. if again doesnt work, try to do that said Moderator. If again doesnt work, go to see that video Is not my video , i just search and it was good way to fix the ping.Is working and Windows 7 and XP and maybe and Windows 8 and 8.1. Listen the video and dont forget when you finish you have to restart your computer( it saids and the video). And then the you will not get a kick of your pings. Maybe if you dont understand go to see that video on youtube because the descreption will help you. If you have the LogMein Hamachi maybe you have to uninstall it because have IP. 0 Guest
Shut down all the programs that could use your internet connection (Skype, Internet browser, email software,...). If your ping continue to be so high try to ping each of these addresses : 1.eu.game.ets2mp.com (EU servs) 1.us.game.kat.pw (US serv) 1.asia.game.kat.pw (Asian serv) 1.brazil.game.kat.pw (South american serv) By this way you'll know wich serv(s) is/are the best for you. 0 [Excellent-Trans] Speelduur
If you have trouble with your connection, please try a cable connection and not wireless. close programs that are running behind by using task manager. Firewall settings for ETS2, also on your virusscanner so it will pass with succes. and there are more things to do for a better connection. (also dont use a powerline connector for a internet connection, not so good either)

0 FirestarteR93
Right, It seems to me that You provided too little info, so i'd like to ask some Q's What programs have you running on background(that may use the connection) ? Are You using wi-fi or cable? Is it same on all the servers?
0 SprinterFS
I am now using a incredibly terrible network. So I have extremely high ping. Never below 180ms. And I do these things to avoid a ping kick. 1. turn off any browser/download/upload/video/music/other games. 2. Use a wired Internet connection and turn on the MAC address filter to make sure nobody else is using my connection. 3. Select the server located closest. I'm currently located in China so I choose the Asian server. 4. Use a VPN if needed. I pay for a VPN which can greatly lower my ping in server EU#1, from 3000ms to 300ms. -- One banned troll means one sad troll. Conserve banning.
