Hard question

 Hi all again. Im professional truck driver(on PC). And i want do screenshots with nice background when i driving. But its says "impossible in move".

 

 I read some other topics with same problem, but i stil cant understand. Is it possible something to do for make screenshots for my Steam?

You can do screenshots only when your truck is stopped. 

 

First you have to stop your truck and then you should be able to do a screenshot. (This restriction is only in multiplayer).

I do it only for my Steam. But Steam dont want making screenshots in moving. Maybe some edit in config file anyone know?

Remember guys, everything is possible. No need to talk "its impossible", just need looking for opportunities. Im simple user, but just try to edit my config file i change 2 strokes randomly.

 And now i can do screenshots than im driving. This is screen like example from my steam.

The stop to take a screenshot is a hardcoded thing in the multiplayer, there is no way around it other than using external software such as Fraps, like others suggested.

If it's only coded in Multiplayer, there's a chance you will get banned for editing our save files.

^ The g_screenshot_on_bug and g_steam_screenshots are in the default ETS2 Config, he isn't touching the MP files.

^yeah but  I believe using a console command will also include the console in the picture. Anyway, I'm using Fraps for screenshots and I can't really complain from it(but! better don't use it for video recording - it'll take no time to eat all your free space)

entering THAT into the console should allow screenshots , I believe ( will test it now )

^So its overwritten by MP's code (and ignores the cmd or instantly sets it back to 0)

I'm guessing that the reason it is disabled by default is that while you take your screenshot, your truck stops moving for a brief moment which can cause desync and accidents if someone is close, similar to what happens when you alt-tab.

you are right that's why we disable the function unfortunately you cannot take a screenshot while driving however you can record a video while driving so this may be a solution
