Tho I'm confused why did you need 2 lanes to make that turn? And why handbrake? It makes your truck jar and uncontrollable... At least when you encounter trolls try to act as mature as possible and don't imitate their behaviour. Movvy Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 and in fairness a VTC is allowed to overtake eachother.also convoys are allowed to overtake eachother.stop categorising everything.theres no such thing as a convoy for traffic rules (except military convoy wich in that case you need blue and green flags infront of headlights..soo that doesnt applies in-game) a convoy or groupe of VTC people driving is nothing more then 5-6 w/e the amount of trucks driving on a road.they have the right just like you and everyone else to overtake eachother and no1 can stop em from doing that.all you can do is go in left lane and wait till the truck overtakes.you can start define it as blocking when they jsut keep on driving same speed next too eachother.but as long as they overtake eachother its NOT blocking and NOT against the traffic rules. and you were honking + flashing lights on the narrow road allready,like firestarter said where do you want him to go? infact he allready gave u half of hes lane ( not sure if that was intentionaly or hes bad driving tough ) edit: honking for a player to increase its speed is also a traffic violation. you are only allwoed to use your horn to prevent a accident or dangerouse situation. it is kinda generally accepted tough to use it as a greating,just dont spam it. Movvy Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 well they were busy overtaking eachother.the main thing they did wrong (and wich is a pretty big offense i think) is that they did an auto save or lagged on purpose on the same time.this is called spiking (lagg spiking) someone. as i said all parties involved had a sort of blame on them.up too admins too decide if and who will gets punnished.in my opinion showing regret and learnign from mistakes is a big +1 tough. I was safely overtaking the convoy and one of the trucks start chasing me (a second before was going on the wrong way) he insulted me and then rammed me. Luckily I recorded him and I will report him when I have time, but yeah those convoys made of trolls make me angry. Wrong way - I don't care what you're driving, there's NO NEED to go that far into the oncoming lane unless you're overtaking. If I can make that corner in a 3 axle Actros with a low loader on the back (longest combination of truck and trailer in the game IIRC) without pulling that manoeuvre then there's no excuse for you doing it... horn spam - It's all good doing it to tell them that you're overtaking but you're doing it all the time, if I were in that situation I would think that you were mad and trying to get ahead of me to run me off the road. flashing lights - See horn spam changing lanes without indicating - Again, no excuse, that's dangerous driving. driving over 2 lanes - Yes they are doing it but they can do it, they don't need to be in single file, you're one truck and you should only be driving in one lane. Tailgating - Stop and wait 15mins? Are you an ******? All you need to do is keep your distance (about 100m, very important when travelling at 50+mph/80 Kph), if you run into the back of someone when they desync (which is what happened at the end of the video) then you're clearly too close.
