loganout Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 If drive on the wrong side of the road, street, receives a fine. Could create a 3 penalties equal to a kick system. Thereby avoid many accidents caused by troll. We saw that in many cases there are no penalties applied by admins.
pUnKfOoT Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 hmmm so 3 warnings and you get kicked, not banned, it could work Rammers are a massive problem, i think they could slide over the issue of fault if the fatser of the 2 in a head on collison gets the fine, as 99% of the time the griefer is the faster, as the victim is already easing off the gas in anticipation, ofcourse there will be rare circumstances where you're going to be fined and not be at fault, but that would be 1% of the time
JellyBreath Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 ...And if the griefer slams the brakes a few metres before impact? LKW Logistics GmbH CEO If my post has helped you out, feel free to like it.
SmOSH Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 The idea is good, but maybe it's impossible to do in MP......?
SprinterFS Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Use the automatic system to punish bad driver is a good idea. But also there may be bug abuses when people pay less attention. Like in some cases going wrong way with hazard warning lights on and you will not be fined. (then it may not trigger the auto kick) 1 -- One banned troll means one sad troll. Conserve banning. The trolls will appreciate it. ҉ PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF RECKLESS DRIVERS ҉ PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF RECKLESS DRIVERS ҉ PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF RECKLESS DRIVERS
SmOSH Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Bug will be also when faster driver will overtake slower driver on the small roads, i think....
loganout Posted June 5, 2015 Author Report Posted June 5, 2015 Overcoming small highway will not count three penalties. There must be a variable that identifies, the fine drive on the wrong side of the road, street
Rhendak Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 I guess this would be okay to do. The key thing in here is how much time there is between receiving strikes for driving on the wrong side of the road. Next to that I'm not entirely sure if it's possible to create this function. [BE/NL] Vice Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 Would be good but will need a lot of testing. For example someone could be parked on the right side of the road, and doesn't move, if there are no admins online you will probably try to go past him, but those are things the system shouldn't warn you for, since you couldn't really do anything else.
Tandre Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 Great idea, i hate hotse douches who drives on the wrong side of the road. The lights of my MP4 are broke just becuze of that, and lamps are not cheap these days
Dr Donkeypunch [DK] Posted June 6, 2015 Report Posted June 6, 2015 Yea, so when ppl continue to drive on the wrong side, a player would get a fine. An automatic system could be nice.. So when the player get 3 fine, they get banned for a small period of time
eFFunt Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 Sometimes I forget that I'm in the UK and accidentally drive on the right.
Movvy Posted June 8, 2015 Report Posted June 8, 2015 one of main problems is with this that you also punnish people who do overtake safely. and how would the system work vs trolls that just keep on driving on wrong side? give 1 point per 2 km wrong side? could work but when do your points reset? i think its very tricky to have a fair and working system.
OMGWasteful01 Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 Great idea but it would be hard to do/make on MP. Also use the format
AbbieGator Posted June 9, 2015 Report Posted June 9, 2015 There's a slight problem with this currently in that you can turn the police off in the config files meaning that you can theoretically avoid the trigger that happens when you're driving on the wrong side of the road. That being said, this would help a few problems but not all, you have to be on the wrong side of the road for a good amount of time before it the wrong way thing even triggers.

Isn´t there any idea about turning (forcing) on the police in-game? I´m really looking forward for features like this but I have no news about this after I read long ago that it could be added once the traffic lights were synced, which they are right now.
