Movvy Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 Suggestion Name: Add ability to cancel reports you did in-gameSuggestion Description: add some kind of option so that you can cancel a report you made.Any example images: Nope. Why should it be added?: it might save admins time in-game if people can cancel theyre report once they see they reported wrong person or even the report is not needed. for example: a person is blocking on the road, you report him but 5 secs later he drives off.I feel always incredible guilty then to waste an admins time. also counts for trolling, ramming etc reports. this can happen to everyone.yes you can report rammers on forums but sometimes a blocker just needs to be gone quickly caus otherwise you or your convoy cant pass.and in those cases i still use in-game report function.and the better we can safe time for admins the quicker they can reply to reports=more efficient working system. 4
Mari' Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 You have my support, especially with reports of "blocking" and "ramming" 2
Aragon Posted June 1, 2015 Report Posted June 1, 2015 +1! From watching admin's twitch streams, it seems like they have lots of wasted reports where the suspect has stopped his bad behavior. It would be useful to cancel a report if you think it's no longer necessary. If this was added, I'd also like to see a command such as /reports so you can see a list of all your open reports, and cancel any that no longer apply. 1 Signature made by Aestrial
phil0499 Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) ^ and maybe make a little menu such as the actual report system for this new function, that way it will be lot more easier to cancel those reports. Not only a way to cancel the report but also a list of all report you made and how it goes (did any admin is on the case, report closed?, player quit the game? , etc.) A bit like the admin side of the actual report system but without all the admin stuffAlso, I like the Idea +1 Edited June 2, 2015 by Phil0499 Like my post if you found my answer helpful and useful Sorry for my English level, if I made a mistake, please send me a private message with the correction I should make.Thank you

El1teZombiezHD Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 +1 Good idea Especially if you report someone accidently or even for the wrong reason, also it can save admins time. I also think a good idea would be to see the list of users YOU have reported and if that report has been claimed, dealt with or deleted, only for your current session though Kind Regards, El1teZombiezHD [TruckersMP Retired Team Member (Ex-Game Moderator)] If you are replying to me, please @mention me (@El1teZombiezHD ) or quote my message otherwise I may not respond
J&B^ Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Yes i agree, so as not to work for admin for nothing Best regards, J&B^ I'm actually in-Game
SΣB. Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 +1. Good idea. Some say the world will end in fire / Some say in ice / From what i've tasted of desire / I hold with those who favor fire But if it had to perish twice / I think i know enough of hate / To say that for destruction ice / It also grate And wold suffice
SmOSH Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 +1I think, this option will do admins work easier. And your example is right. I have this kind of situation sometimes. 1
Guest Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 Not really needed since the reviewing Game Moderator can just delete that report in a few seconds if he noticed that it is insufficient. On a larger scale, it might save quite a lot of time, however, there are many useless reports anyway so it would not make much of a difference. Developing that would, however, need much more effort which is currently being focused on more important things. Rejected.
