ets2mp launcher.exe launches singleplayer

hi,

I recently downloaded ets2 1.18 and installed the multiplayer as soon as it was updated to 1.18. I first noticed that the only way to launch the multiplayer was to reinstall it each time and leave the 'launch multiplayer' box checked. If I didn't reinstall it the launcher.exe and shortcut just launched single player and there was no login screen. To add frustration the game now sometimes says connection refused session invalid.

Looks like I fixed it. I installed it as an admin but never ran launcher.exe as admin oops my fault thanks everyone!

good evening just passed the 1.18 and get on myltiplafer one login and normally playing not chriazete to anyone uninstall and install fight blocked and confused

My account is an admin and I have said yes when it has asked for permission.

 

here's what I've tried already:

Redownloading

Reinstalling (around 9999999999999 times)

Checked my est2 directory is correct

Ran as admin

Ran in directx

Ran in sp before mp

 

Nothing works
