Since there are a lot of people who are not sure which recording software to use, and the topics about them seem to be pretty much weekly now, I thought that there should be one topic that would include all (well, not all but the most popular ones atleast that alot of people use on this forum) recording software's that you can use on your PC to record your gameplay of American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, along with all other games as well. 

 

The software's below are not in any particular order, as there isn't really any order that you can place them in. I also included if the software is free or not, if not, I have also included the price from the official website. And a link to the official website, where you can look into the software more and possibly buy it/download a trial if you so want.
 
Tutorials on how to set up the software's for the best FPS, quality, etc. can be found on www.youtube.com.

Seit dem viele sich nicht sicher sind welche Aufnahme Programm man verwenden kann oder soll und die Topics einzeln über die Aufnahme Programme häufen, dachte ich da soll es ein einzelnes Thema dazu geben welche alle Aufnahme Programme für Spiele wie Euro Truck Simulator 2 oder American Truck Simulator beinhaltet. (Alle bekannten und die meist genutzten Aufnahme Programme in der Community). 

Die darunter stehenden Aufnahme Programme sind nicht nach Kategorien oder sonstigem sortiert. Ich habe alle in einer ABC Reihenfolge sortiert. Ebenfalls habe ich auch recherchiert ob die Software Kostenpflichtig oder Kostenlos zu haben ist. Die Preise sind von den Offiziellen Herstellern Webseiten entnommen worden. Auch habe ich die Links zu den Offiziellen Herstellern hinzugefügt.

Tutorials wie man die beste oder die perfekte Qualität bekommen kann gibt es ausreichend zu finden auf www.youtube.com.

I usually used that too....atm i do not use it cause for some reason it crashes the game/MP Mod with recording enabled after 20-30 Minutes most of the time for me.

No idea if it is caused by the mod, or raptr.

Great post mate, really helpfull. I tried Fraps first and I got into Mirillis Action later which loses less fps. Shadowplay got even smoother results, though, since I got my GTX660, so Im staying with it.

Tell me, Carrythxd, how did you read my mind? I was thinking of doing (and just about to do) this :P

Anyway, I used to use Gaming Evolved, but since it caused crashes I stopped using it. Since I have an AMD card, looks like OBS is the way to go for me, since I want the feature that records the last two minutes.

And we want players who can behave, I'm afraid we can't have what we want :(

True. I recommend it to all players, that way you can record a bad player and report him, if the in-game Admin is not there. ;)

I'd use raptor since i have a AMD card but raptor won't let you edit your video's and yes i've tried quite a few free video editing programs and now i'm using Mirillis Action! because it lets me edit my video's and i thought fraps and OBS were 2 complicated for me to use since i wanted a simple screen recorder to record gameplay and for reporting people on ets2mp

Haven't tried all of those suggested but Action! was the only one that I tried that worked for dual monitors. Be aware it has caused CTD if it's running when you start ETS2MP.

 

AMD 7950 Crossfire/Dual 24" monitors.

 

Keep the rubber side down.

I use OBS capture at 1080p30 then I shove it in Premiere Pro n then export to YT
