Hi. I am a player from the CIS and have encountered a problem when logging into the servers (Cannot connect to server, it may be caused by your internet connection issues. You will be automatically reconnected within next 10 seconds...). I also used a VPN, but it didn't help me.

Hello there,

 

We are aware of this problem that many users are facing. Unfortunately, it is out of our control, as it is not caused by our servers or by our internet provider. It is somewhere between you and our host. After multiple diagnosing attempts with various users, we found an interesting pattern - the connection never reaches our server provider, let alone our servers. Sometimes the connection gets stuck at some network between your internet provider and our provider, and sometimes it does not even leave your provider's network. 

 

Please try the following solutions:

1. Use a VPN: Some people were able to bypass that issue by using a VPN. There are a couple recommended free options such as Cloudflare WARP or ProtonVPN.
Note: may not work for everyone.

 

2.Contact your ISP: Since the issue lays somewhere in-between our server host and a small amount of Internet Service Providers, contacting your ISP may help find the "middleman" that is causing these issues. If needed, our server IPs can be found here: https://api.truckersmp.com/v2/servers.
Note: if your ISP tells you that the issue is not on their end - that is correct, however they have better tools and possibility to pinpoint the network (upstream/peer) that is "dropping" the connection. You can provide them IPs of our servers to diagnose against. We do not know the IPs of ISPs with issues, therefore it is nearly impossible for us to find the cause of the issue.

 

3. Wait: You can simply wait out until the issue is resolved. The problem with this "solution" is that it is unknown when this will be fixed, and if it will be fixed at all (we obviously hope it is fixed at any point).
