Rule-Free Arcade Server With Collisions

Suggestion Description:

I suggest adding a new server alongside the existing Arcade server. The current Arcade server should remain unchanged. However, in addition to it, a new server should be created where collisions are enabled but no driving rules are enforced.

 

At the moment, the Arcade server has collisions completely disabled, meaning players can drive through each other without any physical interaction. While this is useful for some players, others may prefer a server where collisions are active but without the strict rule enforcement found in Simulation servers.

 

This new server would provide a different style of gameplay. Players who want full realism and rules can continue playing on Simulation servers. Players who prefer no collisions can stay on the current Arcade server. Meanwhile, players who want collision physics but do not want rule enforcement would have a separate option.

Why it should be added:

This would increase player choice and satisfaction by offering more gameplay styles without affecting existing servers. It would also help keep Simulation servers more organized by giving rule-free players a dedicated place to play.

It'll just be literal children blocking certain areas to troll, because, the vast majority that do this kind of stuff already do it on the main server *with* rules.

 

But I honestly don't think I've ever even seen a suggestion added by a player since I've played here. Honestly I'm not even sure anyone involved with implementing these suggestions reads this forum.

 

All that said, am I for it? Hell yeah.

Adding a new a server would not change anything. Sim 2 exists and there's only 120 using it right now.

 

Section 2 rules enabled but not enforced would just lead to more problems and declined reports because of it. If you can behave in other parts of the map, you can behave on CD Road.

Why do you want to add a server where 95% of the total player count of it would be kids that would troll? I don't really understand what is the point of adding this server.

 

What could be done is to add on the Arcade server a collision-toggle feature.

If you don't want collisions, then just disable it. You want them? Toggle it.

Let's say you're racing against a friend and you want the race to be realistic, but what's this! The arcade server you're using for the race has collisions disabled. Collisions are necessary for a realistic race. As a result, racing on simulation and promods servers is prohibited, so you can't do it there. Also, this collision-enabled server will be added as an alternative to the existing Arcade (collision-disabled) server, meaning you can continue playing on the collision-disabled server if you don't want to use the other one.

There are desolate areas of the map. You just have to be wary of other drivers who would want to take the time to file a report.

Just because you don't have friends doesn't mean others won't have friends either. When commenting on an event, idea, or suggestion, you should think not just for yourself, but for everyone.

The idea itself is not bad, but I think there is a better solution than creating a second server and further dividing the Arcade server, which is already not very populated to begin with:

 

- Add an in game option that allows players to enable or disable collisions

 

This way, if you want to have fun with your friends with collisions enabled, you can do so

And if a player wants to play on their own without collisions, they can as well

 

Of course, this option would only be available on Arcade servers

When i comment on suggestions, i think of how it can better the community that isn't another mundane idea that will only be used by a whopping 0.5% of the community.

 

The main focus should be getting the other servers just as popular. Adding more servers won't change anything, as i said. Plus, if you really want to do racing with your friends and not worry about whatever rules are broken, go to Convoy Mode.

I don't have to play in convoy mode; I can play wherever I want. If I wanted to play in convoy mode, I wouldn't be writing this suggestion here.
