Change the repair shop in Duisburg

Suggestion Name: Use the eastern repair shop in Duisburg

Suggestion Description: If possible, it would help the traffic if the eastern repair shop were changed to the main repair shop, so that players would spawn in the east when fast traveling.

Why it should be added: It would allow the traffic to get faster out of the City by having more options to leave.

Good idea, but they probably won't do it. So here's a little trick:

 

Go to your truck garage in Düsseldorf. Take your vehicle to the back area of the garage (the front area won't work), do F7. And voila, you're at the Renault service and you've avoided most of the Duisburg traffic.

That's seems like a nice idea towards to reduce traffic, but still the other route is little longer, so players won't choose that, And for going left side on the highway, the issue I explained below is still there. instead I have suggested a highway ramp at that area and few more too...

Other solution involves removal of the little road between the big roundabout and the turnout to LKWLog/CNP - this seems to be major bottleneck. With that road removed, the traffic has to take alternative, longer route. Access to Autobahn 40 is still possible. Likewise, the access to LKWLog/CNP is available, players coming out will have unrestricted right turn and anyone coming to LKWLog/CNP won't have to wait.

simple if you don't like the traffic don't drive to duisburg or use sim 2 which also has a higher speed limit and less players

We have made the decision to not edit or redesign anything on the CD road and in the cities of Calais or Duisburg, at least until the upcoming Benelux rework announced by SCS Software, that will bring massive changes to the road.

 

Once that is there, we will be reviewing such suggestions again. For now, we will mark your idea as declined.
