neiker06 Posted January 24 Report Posted January 24 Have you ever had a head-on collision with someone coming from the opposite direction while driving in your lane? If I pass to the left and they pass to the right, we will collide and I am afraid of being blamed. Similarly, I do not pass to the right because I do not know that they will not pass there. This happens often. I go as straight as possible because the person coming from the opposite direction can see me coming straight and make a move accordingly and save the situation. What do you do in this situation? Is there a possibility that I will be banned from the game because I did not leave my own lane, and I did not even step on the line of my lane? (Assume that the place where the incident occurred is a continuous line, i.e. an area where overtaking is strictly prohibited.) This discussion was created only to learn what the right thing to do in this situation is and to hear from you, our valued forum members, that the probability of me being wrong in this situation is 0%. I am eagerly waiting for your ideas.

Deli|Yürek Posted January 25 Report Posted January 25 Hello, this is an interesting topic First of all, according to TruckersMP rules, as long as you stay in your lane and drive on your side of the road, the risk of being banned is quite low. However, it’s nearly impossible to eliminate the risk completely because in the event of a collision, the other party might report you, and the situation would then depend on the moderators’ interpretation. That’s why I highly recommend using recording software (such as OBS or GeForce Experience) to capture your gameplay. This way, you’ll have evidence to show exactly what happened if needed. Regarding the scenario you mentioned: If you notice a potential risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle, continuing straight is generally the safest choice. Changing lanes, no matter how good your intentions are, might lead to both parties moving in opposite directions simultaneously, making the collision unavoidable. This would result in an accident caused by mutual misjudgment. Additionally, since you pointed out that this incident occurred in an area with a solid line where overtaking is strictly prohibited, the oncoming vehicle being in your lane is already a violation. As long as you’re following the rules and staying in your lane properly, the likelihood of you being at fault is very low. Personally, I usually drive at 90 km/h and believe that adhering to speed limits significantly reduces accidents. High speeds often lead to issues like loss of control or insufficient reaction time, both of which are common causes of collisions. For this reason, sticking to speed limits and driving in a way that matches road conditions is the safest approach for everyone. In summary, stay in your lane, follow the speed limits, and remain calm. Additionally, always report incidents with a polite and constructive tone to minimize potential issues within the online community. 1 2 1 Best Regards Deli | Yürek TruckersMP Player Languages spoken: English, Turkish, German official language Turkish | Rules | Meet the Team | Recruitment | Knowledge base system | Support | Feedback | | Kurallar | Takımla Tanışın | İşe Alım | Bilgi Tabanı Sistemi | Destek | Geri Bildirimler | | Regeln | Triff das Team | Rekrutierung | Wissensbasissystem | Unterstützung | Feedback |
'Mix Posted January 26 Report Posted January 26 You slow down and avoid a collision to your best ability. If it is clear you had the chance to avoid a collision but didn't do anything to avoid it, then the fault of the collision can be placed on you. - I'm not saying I'm Wonder Woman; I'm just saying no one has ever seen me and Wonder Woman in the same room together.
Angel . Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 Any situation involving a collision with another player is always good to have a recording. If you have software like GeForce Experience, for example, you don't need to record all the time. It's possible to activate a command where the software only records, for example, the last 50 seconds of the game. This recording mode is great because it doesn't cause your game to freeze due to constant recording and doesn't consume too much of your device's memory. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, your heart is your identity!
