Would like players to learn habits from real life. Drivers in real life when a semi-trailer truck overtakes them, almost always when the rear of the semi-trailer passes them, they give a signal with high beams that it is safe to change lanes

This type of behaviour on road  is very helpful in safely completing an overtaking manoeuvre, especially in poor visibility or rain, snow

So far I've only met a few players on TMP simulation 1  , who knew this behavior. It's nice when others started using it too

this is a very helpful behavior for the one being overtaken and the one who is overtaking

Many Players driving Reckless in this Game. I started these Days a new Profile, with World of Truck Contracts only, cause i "love" the Challenge! Even on the Basemap, not the Hot High Populated Areas, Ppl do not obey any kind of Rule and or ramming me purposely off the Road.

Fact is, you can not compare TruckersMP with realistic Driving. You can restrict yourself to realistic Driving, as much the Default Game make it possible. But, the most Players do not drive realistic, cause this is not Simulation Game! TruckersMP is a Multiplayer PvP/PvE Destruction Derby Contest with Seduction to Multi Language Insulting Words and Phrases!

As Sidenote, driving with a World of Truck Trailer in High Populated Area, is more challinging and dangerous, than wiping poop off your ass, without getting your hands dirty, during an Level 9 Earthquake!

And for the Files, i am driving 99.99% Realistic within the Speed Limits for Trucks and the European Road Rules! I streamed the first Hours of my Gameplay, j4f, no Fancy reckless driving, no UI Overlay, just pure boring Truck driving on empty Roads in TruckersMP! The Footage can be used as ASMR Content! 😄

If People are interested to watch it, you can contact me! Can help against Insomnia!

Besides real life, you also just use common sense and your brain. Trucks usually don't overtake other trucks. Mostly cars only. But indeed, leave space if you see something happening.

Depends how reckless the driver is and if its worth risking, I have seen couple of trucks do it irl but its a very big risk. Considering the weight and the speed of the vehicle in front

Have you ever driven on the roads of Europe? In your opinion, trucks don't overtake each other? And in your opinion, they don't flash their high beams to signal a safe lane change so that a semi-trailer doesn't hit you. Do you have a driving license for anything in real life i mean ?

Well, as a truck driver I do overtake and yes, we use high beams to let the other know there is a place for them or let them know we start overtaking.
On the other hand thinking that all users will respect it or will do such things on road is a dream.
Good to see you have such knowledge about truckers stuff, but we cannot require all of that from all users.

If you go outside of CD road you will see players doing this as well. It can be difficult to spot in the tiny mirrors though.

I think you are expecting alittle to much as a large portion of the player base lack basic highway code let alone trucker atticate. Many lack the patience and just overtake as soon as they see another truck as getting to the destination 2 secs sooner makes it worth it.

Half just spam their horns as they believe it will magically resolve the problem.

But I completely agree with you and it would be nice to see and it happened more back in the day. As long as we provide a example for newer players hopefully some may take it on board.
