I am not quite sure how this Question is meant or should the question better be like: How your PC deal with Traffic Areas like Calais-Duisburg? 😉

Anyways, there is no "dealing" with such Areas. I drive often in these Areas, cause i love the Challenge to drive in it, without getting any Damage to my Truck/Cargo and not causing any Damage, by own Mistake, to Other People!  My Mastermind Hack to doing this, i am just Obey the Rules and drive within the Speed Limits of the Local Map Areas! And my absolute Secrect Weapons, to stand my ground, are my Patience, my Sarcasm and the Fact that i know from Real Life how to drive a Truck! Cause i am Old and i need the proof that the Stupidity of Mankind will be Winning in the Future!

What also makes me feel confident, when i drive there, i have a 24/7 Dashcam Recording! So, any Incident that cause Harm to me and or having a Major Influence to the ongoing Situation, can be reviewed and if necessary reported! So, i am Always the Last One who laugh! 😉

Just like in life, dealing with challenges is always difficult, but there is a way to overcome them: staying calm and maintaining perspective. When faced with difficult drivers or unexpected issues during gameplay, I take a step back, take a deep breath, and remind myself that this is simply part of the experience. Approaching problems with patience and the mindset that every challenge is an opportunity for learning and growth proves to be highly effective.

Additionally, by driving realistically and following the rules, you automatically enjoy a smoother driving experience while overcoming the challenges that come with crowded roads.

Actually, even though many people complain about popular roads and traffic, one of the things that makes TruckersMP a realistic online simulation is the traffic! Traffic is truly enjoyable, but only when the rules are followed.

For example, what makes the Kirkenes mine road so special is the traffic.

I didn't drive in Calais-Duisburg like 1.5-2 years so I don't deal with traffic.

But when I drive on there I always keep my safe distance, safe speed, always check my mirrors in case of overtaking or troll situations and of course I avoid overtaking in front of me.

These are my little rules for driving in C-D:

1 - Never overtake, even if it seems empty. A car will always appear in front of you, as if by magic.
2 - Don’t ignore your mirrors and especially your intuition. If you feel that the player next to you will do something stupid, be sure that they will.
3 - Patience is the key to completing the entire C-D journey.

These little rules can make all the difference!!!

1 - Never overtake, even if it seems empty. A car will always appear in front of you, as if by magic.

I overtake all the time when I drive on empty times (500-2500) server, and it is very possible.

You just have to be good at it and the person you're overtaking has to cooperate.

Just have the GPS, be sure no one comes and that the line isn't continious solid, no incoming corners or junctions.

Then easily downshift and have enough power ready to do it quickly, left blinker, make sure no one else is overtaking by mirrors, have a decent distance from your trailer to their cab and merge back with blinker, it's easy as that.

The negative part is that some people are idiots and accelerate even more while getting overtaken, which is mentioned as Reckless Driving in 2.5 rule and can lead to a ban.

Option 1: If you're halfway overtaking and a vehicle is coming from front, use a bit of retarder and merge back to your position with blinker instead of going nowhere in the grass.

Option 2: If the person you overtake is smart enough, they will brake so you can complete the overtake safely before crashing.

But unfortunately some people do not cooperate when you overtake them (I think they get mad??) or the truck you had behind will not leave a space if you are forced to merge back to your position.

If that happens, from my understanding the other trucks would be at fault as long you were doing overtake on safe conditions:

- No solid line, no corners, no railway crossing, etc.

- No one coming from the other side in the GPS.

You're right on this point, I've often dealt with some idiots that cut me while I'm overtaking because they're about to overtake too but don't check the mirrors, you'd need good reaction time but at that point just let it happen to report the player.

3 - Patience is the key to completing the entire C-D journey.

When I find that one 60-80 km/h driver with 1 millon tons+ I lose my whole damn patience 🤣 but your right anyways.

I avoid them 🙃 I mostly enjoy the DLC's and drive as far from C-D as possible. It's not like everyday traffic, and I absolutely hate it when I start in Brussels and end up in some repair shop in Duisburg because I got hit 20 times and have lots of damage.

Atleast you get to test your connection stability😅
