Question

Hey,

I play truckersmp with controller, and i have a question concerning acceleration and braking :

I don’t have progressive acceleration and braking in game, which is when I push a little bit to accelerate, I’m accelerating at maximum, I can’t dose my acceleration, as well as the braking, and I can’t figure out how to change that in the game settings.
This is quite problematic for me and the other players, because for example if there are people and I want to brake, I will brake at once, so it may surprise others.
Thank you for your help,
Cordially

Your issue with acceleration and braking in TruckersMP could be related to your controller settings or

the in-game control configurations. To resolve this, you can follow these steps:

  1.Adjust Controller Sensitivity:

     • Go to the TruckersMP or Euro Truck Simulator 2 settings.

     • In the "Settings" section, select "Controls."

     • Here, you should find sensitivity settings for acceleration and braking. This controls how sensitive your acceleration and braking movements are.

     • By increasing the sensitivity, you can achieve a more gradual acceleration and braking

        response.

2.Pedal Settings: If you are using pedals for acceleration and braking, check their settings.

     • You can adjust settings like Deadzone and Saturation, which control how sensitive the

pedals are and how far they need to be pressed before they respond.

  3.In-Game Advanced Settings:

•In the "Options" menu of the game, check the "Gameplay" or "Controls" section. There may

be additional settings that allow you to adjust acceleration and braking responses more

       precisely.

  4.Update TruckersMP:

•If these settings are correct but the problem persists, ensure that TruckersMP is up to date.

An outdated version could cause compatibility issues.

If these steps don't solve the issue, you can check TruckersMP forums or support pages for advice

from other players who might have faced the same problem.

I hope this helps!
