I would like to present a proposal that recently inspired me on Discord. It involves introducing a system where players can rate each other based on their behavior in the game.

The idea is simple: players could rate each other for positive or negative behavior – similar to a Reddit post where you can react with an upvote or downvote. For example, players could be positively rated for driving courteously, acting politely, or having a well-designed truck. Negative ratings would be reserved for players who act inappropriately, such as ramming, reckless overtaking, or other disruptive actions.

The rating could be implemented through a simple in-game command or an intuitive user interface that integrates this functionality.




How Does This Benefit the Server?
 

The rating system offers several advantages:

Identification of Potentially Problematic Behavior
If a player consistently receives negative ratings (downvotes), this will be visible to moderators. However, a high number of negative ratings will not automatically lead to consequences. Instead, the system acts as a signal for moderators to closely monitor and evaluate the player's behavior. This ensures that actions like kicks or bans are only taken after thorough verification.

Encouragement of Positive Behavior
Players who receive positive feedback (upvotes) are encouraged to continue acting in a friendly and respectful manner. This strengthens the sense of community and enhances the overall gaming experience.

Improved Player Experience
With this system, the community has a way to actively contribute to improving the quality of gameplay. At the same time, moderators receive a helpful basis for identifying and addressing potential misconduct.

Incentives Through a Reputation System
Players with many positive ratings could be highlighted with special titles, badges, or other rewards. This could serve as an additional motivation for players to present themselves in the best possible way.

Long-Term Deterrence for "Troller"
Negative ratings alone do not lead to consequences but highlight problematic behavior and make "Troller" visible to moderators. Through the ability to review and verify actions, "Troller" can be held accountable, which might deter them from continuing their behavior in the long term.

Conclusion

I am fascinated by this idea, as it not only strengthens the quality of the community but also makes the work of moderators more efficient. Such a system would enhance and positively influence the gaming experience for all participants.

I sincerely hope that this concept will be implemented in TruckersMP, as I am convinced it would greatly benefit the entire community.
