Hey TruckersMP community! 🚛

In Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, we often focus on the big things: routes, convoys, traffic... But there are so many small details hidden in the game world.

What are the small things you’ve noticed while playing that might easily go unnoticed?

- A funny or interesting road sign on the highway?

- The intricately designed buildings or scenery in the DLCs?

- A hidden road or area you discovered in the far corners of the map?

For example, I was really surprised when I noticed the vineyards in the France DLC. Also, the small road signs on the highways in Scandinavia are super realistic!

Let’s share these hidden beauties and details in this thread! Maybe these small things could change the way we see the game. 😊

To list all the little things worth mentioning would be a Sisyphean task in my eyes. In fact, it's the sum of all these details that makes the game so appealing. Everywhere on the map I discover things that match almost exactly what I have already seen in real life. This starts with typical landscapes, continues with lovingly recreated streets in towns, including their clearly recognizable buildings, and ends not least with signposts at the edge of the playing field pointing in the direction of actually existing villages. I am convinced that I would also recognize places in real life that I have only been to ingame before.
Just to name two small examples in ETS:
The almost exact street layout from the Veddel market square, through the former free port, past the Neuhof junction, over the Köhlbrand Bridge, to the container terminal in Hamburg-Waltershof. All the former customs offices have even been recreated.
The ferry from Travemünde over to Priwall. There, too, everything is there that makes it recognizable: the street layout, the old harbour, the church from 1540, the Passat museum ship, the retirement home on Priwall, and much more

In settings section, there is so many things that you can make the game more realistic and cozy. 🙂

Suspension tension is one of them and i make them always soft, it bounces my cabin anyways 😁

Other thing that i enjoy the game is hidden roads. I mean if you doesn't goes to Calais & Duisburg there is Alphine Mountain. The road is very zigzaggy ☺️

Im still new to the game, but do enjoy seeing an airplane taking off in the distance as you pass an airport, and the occasional hot air balloon floating above. The little things.....

Welcome! I guess some southern dlc you might like. Aswell as Italy.
