Nyrociel [GER] Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Dear TruckersMP Community, It was actually a coincidence that I took this route. But even after the first few kilometers, I was totally enthusiastic about the route. People who like winding roads and have always enjoyed riding the famous Duisburg-Calais route should love this route even more. Route details at a glance: length: 550 kilometers Petrol stations: 4 The route is much better landscaped and has some nice bridges, tunnels and tight and sharp bends. In addition to the route, I have attached some nice pictures of the route. I hope that this route will be used a lot at some point, it definitely deserves it! ~Nyrociel 4
User_5473085 Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Looks pretty good, will try it later today, however most C-D people aren't even aware of the forums and other routes, it's like they bought the game solely for playing C-D on TMP. So moving everyone is a hard task, if convincing people to move to the alps is hard, imagine to this one? I love the landscapes and I agree it'd be a better route but people are just stuck to C-D for some reason, it's just getting stressful at this point with how many heavy load & purposely weak truck 60 km/h drivers you see there. 2 1
Nyrociel [GER] Posted January 8 Author Report Posted January 8 @User_5473085 I absolutely agree with you. However, my intention was not to relocate the CD route, but rather to draw the attention of people who love these types of roads and landscapes. Have fun exploring it later.
Smalley Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I am also gonna look into this route! It does look quite nice 1
bluesbass Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 It's not just that the road provides the best experience, there are plenty of roads like that. Examples of that: 1- Calais to Prague: Calais-Duisburg-Dortmund-Kassel-Erfurt-Prague; almost all driving experience is 1-1 roads(1 lane to go, 1 lane to come) 2- Debrecen to Rostock: Debrecen-Kosice-Lublin-Bialystok-Olsztyn-Gdansk-Szczecin-Rostock 3- Bergen to Oslo: Bergen-Oslo(both mountain road should be seen 4- Milan to Zurich: The Alps mountain passage should be seen 5- Klagenfurt to Innsbruck: The Alps again 6- Liege to Montpellier: Liege-Reims-Saint Laurent-Limoges-Montpellier These are the first ones that came to my mind in a second. More nice roads can be found easily by avoiding highways. 1 TruckersMP Retired Team Member EN/TR
Sunstrider Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Don't give Sim 1 ideas CD Road needs to die off when the Be-Ne-Lux is revamped. They need to venture over the free part of the map. Not drive the same 2 lane road back and forth, a million times a year. 1 1
Angel . Posted January 10 Report Posted January 10 I believe that each player has their own individual experience in the game. Is the C-D route chaotic? We agree that it is, but no one is obligated to travel on it. My experience with the C-D was the friends I made while traveling on it. On other routes, I didn't have that opportunity. I agree that there are other cool routes to explore, but the individual experience of each driver should be considered. 1 It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, your heart is your identity!
Averazon Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 There are many beatiful routes. Aslong as c-d remaind the way it is, people will keep driving to it for multiple reasons. 1 Ex-Community Moderator
Twojpapier Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 Gamę moderators could close this route for a while (surface renovation) and see what the players do, how quickly they find a new route or disperse all over the map 1 1 1
[SCM]Ξmpresive Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 This route looks really cool and thanks to your detailed explanation I would definitely try it! However, I think TruckersMP needs to find a solution for the Calais-Duisburg route as soon as possible. The roads are too narrow and these areas often become a hub for trollers. I think these roads should be limited to the number of people or security measures should be increased. This way it would be a more enjoyable driving experience for everyone. 1
x004cc_174rus Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 It's time to change CD road to another one. I still dont know how people drive on same road for 1-2 years. What a wrong with you guys? I bellieve the TMP Team can easily transfer polulation from CD road to another one by simpy Event or something like that. Will see it soon. How does Event Team working? 1
DAGH Posted January 21 Report Posted January 21 I would like to play more on truckersmp if it wasn't only the CD route. Gentlemen, we are talking about 5000 online players in the evening and most of them are only there, so what's the point of driving alone on the rest of the maps if I don't meet anyone, the same on PRO-Mods. 2
CoffeeEdition' Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 The road is really amazing! I don't think C-D players will go there. Those who want to go probably turn back because the road is empty. It would be great to adapt the same route to the current C-D road but it seems very difficult. 1
[MCG] Nathan Posted January 25 Report Posted January 25 hello, there is a lot of road with such beautiful landscapes, turns and alternatives to the CD road, and this one can be a good one too ; but I think, like @Twojpapiersaid, it would be a great idea to close the road and see where the players would go. OR maybe, it would be interesting to put lights on some roads with some events, like the one in end 2024, it was a successful event, with a lot of players who has been driving to it. 1 1

qkohe155 Posted February 4 Report Posted February 4 I see that some people do not understand why people drive on route C-D. Landscapes? There are no exceptional landscapes there, just a regular, basic map. IT SHOULD BE CHAOS. If you want to drive safely, do not approach this route under any circumstances. That is why it should not be rebuilt. The reconstruction of Duiburg and the earlier inclusion of the no-collision zone also did not make sense. Even the removal of the roundabout in Calais reduced the experience of being there. I personally like driving on this route, but not often, because everything becomes boring. But I wonder why they chose this route? After all, GPS avoids it like the plague. In default mode it never showed it to me. I remember that a long time ago there was such a place in the Europort in Rotterdam. 1 1
shaden- Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 Many beautiful routes in this game but for a reason I do not know, a lot of players still choosing C-D over any route. Bergen to Oslo, Milan to Zurich both are mountain routes and have some amazing scenery. And I recommend new Greece DLC as well. 1 1
