Just to get an answer out of someone on the moderation team:

 

Cheat Engine is fine if you are using it solely to increase money and/or experience. As mentioned by another user, you can do this in Single Player which is recommended. Money/Experience adjustments does not affect other users in any way.

Yes, its allowed, but keep in mind: Using cheat engine for by-pass some auto kick function or Any kind of 3rd party hacking tools is not allowed.

Cheats used solely for increasing money or levels are generally accepted as long as they don’t affect other players’ experience.
(It’s recommended to apply money or level adjustments in single-player mode before logging into TruckersMP.)

I have tried using a mod for more money when i started a new profile while not on TMP. Sadly, when i got on TMP, the "cheated" profile was not detected.

 

You get experience from being solo. Best to avoid CD until you have enough money to pay for damages and not got bankrupt.
