If I buy dlc maps do they also work on mp or is it just on the base game?

Yes, they work in the multiplayer.  

And there are also 2 ProMods servers, so if you like to play on ProMods map, that’s not a problem for TMP!

Yes, as soon as you download the map DLCs you've purchased, they will automatically integrate into TruckersMP.

After you buy the map dlc, you can access the TruckersMP to connect to the Promods server, and then you can have a pleasant drive, see you on the road.

They all work, but there are practically no players to be found anywhere outside the base map.

Go for it if you like driving alone for 99% of the time.
