What's the point of the speed bumps at the C-D gas station if they don't seem to affect cars and trucks?

The point of speed bumps is to slow down for them.

The old ones at the Brussel's Interchange worked and forced cars to slow down or wreck out.

These speed bumps, found at gas stations along the C-D road, are designed to slow down speeding players, especially in crowded areas. However, this effect may not be fully reflected in the game's speed physics. More importantly, they serve as a strong visual cue for drivers to proceed with caution

And another Discussion about the Reckless Drive Through, at these Gas Stations. As i already mentioned in Past Discussions. Speedbumps wont change a Thing, as you can see here and as is saw multiple Times on the Server while driving along this Area!

Only a Change of the Road Layout can force Reckless "EvilKnievelWannabeRaceStuntIAmGiveA *Censored Word* AboutOtherPlayersAroundMeDrivers" ( Yes, i am that Old to know Evil Knievel) to Slow Down in this Area and preventing them from Intentional Crashing into Players who leave the Fuelpumps!

But, TruckersMP do not listen, so the Chaos still continues!

@Sunstrider @Falke The speed bumps that I've shown in my forum post unfortunately doesn't work the same way that you've explained, when you ignore them and don't slow down, it's exactly as if they were not placed there at all. Normally the consequences is that you can lose control or even wreck your vehicle but in this case I was speeding around 140 (faster than the Simulation 1 speed limit) and it ended up being completely fine. So from my perspective these type of speed bumps currently doesn't have any benefits for traffic control, especially when people are gonna use the gas station to overtake other people that way. Not only that but I've also seen traffic stack up there because of someone driving unnecessarily slow on those bumps thinking that it can damage their vehicle, this resulted into others trying to overtake on terrain which is not appropriate and reckless. And for some reason, only one direction of these two gas stations have speed bumps on them. Is the add-on team aware of these issues?

And @If Its Itchy,Just Scratch I can also agree that the current road layout can't really bring these people to not drive recklessly

When I pass over a bump with a truck, I literally jump and the physics look good, you pass with a Skoda, maybe the physics are not adjusted for the Skoda.

see the way he is driving if there was a traffic game he shuold be reported for reckless driving avoiding traffic this is why i dont like the gas station layout now for that reason

People play the game as if it is a racing game. The true joy of ETS/ATS is driving professionally, follow all traffic rules, minimise consumption and cargo damage.
It's a technology issue it's a player base immaturity issue.

Because some people think that it is a good idea to overtake people through the gas station which is not only just plain stupid but also dangerous for those in the gas station? Not sure. An attempt to stop that from happening. It was so annoying when people tried that...

same with the speedbumps at that intersection between brussel and rotterdam on the exit to duisburg. i also have save edit and low suspended truck so it damages my vehicle too..

ok but thats your choice to save edit if you dont want the speed bumps to damage your truck then i suggest playing the game the normal way  with a save file

prob bc you on KBM, cuz if you are controller, or steering wheel, you can actually feel it, regardless how fast or how slow you drive over them.
