Senior Community Manager Popular Post Vicc Posted October 11 Senior Community Manager Popular Post Posted October 11 Greeting TruckersMP Community! After the great success of our improved chat system, we have come back with improving your TruckersMP experience even more. This time we have completely reworked the old Scoreboard into a more interactive, modern, and informative interface. Goodbye Scoreboard, hello Player Panel! We decided to change the name from ‘Scoreboard’ to ‘Player Panel’ because there is no ‘score’ within TruckersMP. The Player Panel is built instead to serve more purposes than just listing the surrounding players by offering interactive features and a modern as well as scalable interface that adapts perfectly to your screen settings. We want to give a special thanks to our Patron supporters for providing their valuable input on the panel. What’s new? Our goal has been to create an informative panel with interactive elements and easy navigation. Additionally, we have changed the design of the panel to be more modern, which was a highly requested feature from the community. Let’s check out what’s new! Functional Scaling One of the most requested features from the community was to implement functional scaling, which is now implemented. The panel now automatically adjusts its size based on your screen resolution and settings. You can also manually adjust the size of the different HUD elements to suit your preferences better. Font & Text Render We have integrated a new font engine, which means you will now see better support for a wide variety of languages and character sets. This way, you can see names and tags that contain special characters correctly. With that change, we’ve also changed the font to look more modern. Player List We improved player listing by merging player tag and name columns, which makes the list more compact. The player tags are now highlighted in bold to make them stand out more when players use similar colours. On top of this we have implemented icons that appear next to player names. There are icons for Steam friends, VTC members (if you are in a VTC), Patrons, and TruckersMP team members. You are also able to see your own icons if that applies to you. Steam friends VTC members TruckersMP team members Patrons We have furthermore added a new column containing different actions. Through this you are able to easily report, mute, and unmute a player. For now, these are the only options, but we might expand this to cover more features in the future. The context menu (right click on a player), where actions such as ‘Show Steam Profile’ and ‘Show TruckersMP Profile’ are located, remains the same. Lastly, the panel now opens in the middle of your screen by default, and we have placed the report button at the top for easy access. Sorting Players are now automatically grouped, first by friends, followed by other VTC members (if you are on a VTC). You can still change the grouping, for example with sorting manually by ID or Distance. You can now maintain these settings by checking ‘Save Player Panel’s customization’ in your settings under the ‘Interface’ tab. Searching Searching is no longer hidden as a toggle option; instead, it is a permanent part of the panel. It works the same way as before, allowing you to query players by their ID, tag, or name. Needed Removals Due to technical reasons, two features that were previously part of the Scoreboard had to be removed: Custom UI packs no longer apply to the Player Panel. This is due to changes to the current UI skin. In the future, we would love to support the ability to customise the colours, font sizes, and spacing, but at the moment this is not possible with the technology we are using. To streamline the overall design of the panel, we have disabled the date/time functionality. Since this information is available on most devices, we simply felt that offering it was redundant and didn’t justify the resources required to keep it maintained. Your Feedback Matters! As with any update, your feedback is very valuable to us. We want to ensure that the new Player Panel meets your expectations and works seamlessly. Make sure to contact the Support Team if you find a bug and Community Management for suggestions and feedback. This will help us to refine and improve this release further. Don’t forget to share your thoughts on our socials by using the hashtag #PlayerPanel! The new Player Panel is ready for action, and we can't wait for you to try it out. Titanic4 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The date/time functionality removal might cause issue, though. The date/time can be recorded on the video, which gets used later. 7 If you want to ask anywhere on forums whenever 32-bit version of MP will be supported in future, try to start GTA V on your 32-bit machine before checking game's system requirements. Instead of quoting the post above, use the ^ character. The character is actually pointing to the post above. How to fix sudden steering issue on your USB steering wheel
Project Manager Luna Posted October 11 Project Manager Posted October 11 Hi! Regarding the date and time, we understand it used to be helpful when filing web reports. Please remember that we just ask for a rough indication such as date and morning/evening; the exact time is not needed. You can also always refer to the time on your computer or the time the video file was saved. /time also exists if you definitely want to have it on video. I hope this helps! 4 1 2 1 2 Appeal your ban | Submit feedback | Buy awesome merchandise | Have a nice day
[XORA] CODEYX Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The removal of the date and time display is very unfortunate. Especially for players with a single monitor setup. Apart from that, it looks like a nice remake. 7 1 Kind regards / Mit freundlichen Grüßen CODEYX My languages: German & English Steam // TMP // VTC [XORA]
pamacs19971 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Nice and all, but why is my fps cut in half when this panel is open? 1

Ah, OK, if it is not necessary to enter the exact time in a web report (I had a different impression of it in the input mask), removing the display of the exact time is not a problem. Because my recorded videos are sometimes half an hour long, and if I then shorten the video to the time required for the web report, I no longer know afterwards whether it was 11:10 or perhaps already 11:28 at the time of the scenes shown.... On the other hand, I also don't understand why the time isn't simply displayed there, as there would still be space in the previous position? And I would also find it helpful to be able to display the TMPID in the player panel, for example, then you could save yourself the trouble of having it displayed continuously on the actual game screen or having to ask for it every time via /pinfo (which doesn't work so easily with those who first ram you off the road and then disconnect immediately, although of course you can still get to the TMPID - and then get the told "TMP is not visible in the video" from the report moderator as reply...).
Ahmet16 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 When it comes to a new player panel, I thought that all UIs in the game were updated in accordance with this design, the settings, report section, job section, radio section, the fact that these sections are still the same affects the design integrity. In addition, the new user panel is really nice in terms of design, if we can change the color of this panel like determining the tag color, it would be much better. Finally, although this panel is resizable, it is really wide, so it can be made to allow forced compression by adding a horizontal scroll bar or other solutions.
hjvg Posted October 11 Posted October 11 the date time removal is stupid as we need to have date times and tab menu open for tmp verification screenshots of events. also i think the window is staying way to big so almost inpossible to keep open while driving as its taking a lot of screen room 1 8
TIRO_k Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Ok i will be short. What the fok is this? At least make it smaller and bring back time & date. From bad u make it just worse 11 1
Λries Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Finally! It was long time for a refreshment, I like it & it looks more modern! but the report window & job dispatcher are still in the old design...? I miss the time... it would be great if you could add it later... e.g. keep an eye on time during convoy, departure, breaks...during normal driving...it was very practical, now I have to look/search for my phone at the table... and maybe a suggestion, a option to change that red buttons into some other basic colors? would be cool Thank you TMP team! 1 1
Jofu Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I'm sorry, but at it's smallest it still takes up way too much screen.. Please make it smaller again!! 7
Lemon-TMP Posted October 11 Posted October 11 After updating the new control panel UI, can multiple languages be added? Because the launcher now has multiple languages, why isn't the control panel available?
[MCG] Jeffry Posted October 11 Posted October 11 It's very cool. I'm waiting for the new user interface.
LV_Kurjers Posted October 11 Posted October 11 And will there be an option to display which wave the player is configured on in the walkie-talkies? 1

Would be very interested to hear why keeping such a feature “didn’t justify the resources required to keep it maintained”, that sounds like a very peculiar statement, as does the attempted justification that it’s removal helps streamline the interface. Considering how much blank space there is around the panel it wouldn’t be out of place to have the date/time included. 8
PinkNub_ Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Excellent work for me, I don't miss anything special there, the panel is modern and looks more fresher and has all imporant info &features we need! Thanks for that update! 1 Reporting a player | Appeal your ban | Support System | Recruitment

0perator Posted October 11 Posted October 11 there is no date n clock . was removed . i use the original devices, it is too bad for me, especially when i use the web report system, it was so usefully for me. hope you ll be fixed it future updates 4
Arf. Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Great feature! The new Player Panel will make the gameplay much smoother by centralizing everything in one place. With customization options and real-time reporting, this panel will be a huge convenience for players. Thanks to the TruckersMP team! Also, a more minimalist and modern design looks more innovative, elegant, and nice. I would also love to see a second page in the panel dedicated to Customizable Widgets, like real-time busy roads, traffic routes, etc., integrated with the website, allowing us to see most things directly from there. Additionally, Support for Multiple Languages would be great, with the option to select using flag emojis. The settings part of the panel currently requires more than basic English, so this would make it easier for players.
-Mermi- Posted October 11 Posted October 11 If there is still no Turkish language support for Turkish players in this new panel, I think nothing has changed for me. After all, we are also Turkish truckersmp players, we do not have to use it in a foreign language. Am I right? Another thought is that the beautiful clock display is gone, I am sorry about that, but still, good work, thank you for your efforts. Best regards.
