Manishh Posted September 22, 2024 Report Posted September 22, 2024 I always go from the roundabout. It does definitely take longer time but I feel its more safer. How do you reach the exit?
Drеam Posted September 22, 2024 Report Posted September 22, 2024 I would personally just turn left at the lights and wait until it's clear. But if you feel safer going to the roundabout then you do you.
LuX. Posted September 22, 2024 Report Posted September 22, 2024 The fastest way is to merge to the left lane from the entry side and wait for a green light, then wait until there’s no oncoming traffic and then you can turn left. It’s faster than going to the round about and waiting for another green light.
Butter Bear Posted September 23, 2024 Report Posted September 23, 2024 When the traffic volume is high, I choose to go straight around the island and make a U-turn, otherwise it is easy to collide
Bеаn Posted September 23, 2024 Report Posted September 23, 2024 You, once you have a green light, pull forward and wait in the center until it's clear to cross the other side of the road. Once clear, you cross. You could also go straight and use the roundabout and then come back on yourself, if you don't trust yourself doing the above.

Just creep forward into the intersection (I usually just creep as forward as I can, so the one behind me can creep forward as well if they want to make the left turn as well), then press 2 to check the light status and the traffic ahead (yea, hate that the light is not on the opposite side of the intersection and idk who designed this which is terrible design). Once there's no one coming from the opposite side or the light turns yellow/red, you can make your turn safely
Arf. Posted September 23, 2024 Report Posted September 23, 2024 If the left turn lane is full and you cannot move into it from the right lane, you must continue straight and make a turn at the nearest possible location. From the left lane, you can either turn left or go straight. However, the right lane is strictly for going straight and cannot be used for turning left. In this image, only vehicles numbered 1, 2, and 3 are allowed to turn left, but vehicle number 4 can never make a left turn. (Can you turn left from the right lane? No, turning left from the right lane is prohibited by law. Turning left from the middle lane is only allowed if the left lane vehicles are turning and the middle lane is clear. In roundabouts, if there is no suitable lane to turn left from the middle lane, you must switch to the left lane to make the turn.)
Ahmet16 Posted September 23, 2024 Report Posted September 23, 2024 To turn left from the "Entry" section, I follow the left lane, when the green light turns, I move towards the middle of the road and prepare myself for the left turn. When the traffic flow on the opposite road stops, I make the turn and continue. At this point, some users may prefer to make a U-turn from the roundabout, but most of the time the roundabout is busy and it will be quite difficult to enter the right lane in this busy area.
Sunstrider Posted September 23, 2024 Report Posted September 23, 2024 Get over in the left lane BEFORE you reach the light. Wait for the green light. Wait for traffic to clear. Make your turn so long as you aren't blocking or obstructing other traffic. If you can't turn, go through the roundabout taking the third right. Do a safe u-turn. Stay in the right lane. Make a right turn when the light is green.

I mean just creep forward when it's green, then when it turns yellow/red and/or the opposite traffic is clear, you are good to go Easier than all the hassles after 4 imo As long as you creeped forward and had your left signal on, you shouldn't be kicked or banned for blocking anyways

If you do, wait until you see traffic stopping then go. Course, there are those who assume red=green.
Pala_TMP Posted September 25, 2024 Report Posted September 25, 2024 Simple go on the left lane and take the exit to the left where do u want to enter always letting other drivers pass away from the other side lane. - Pala_TMP-

Ditere Posted October 2, 2024 Report Posted October 2, 2024 In low traffic - left turn during rush hours - I personally prefer to drive around and appear from the right (from this perspective). It can really save a lot of time fr fr. Ofc U-turn is also good
yang guang Posted October 3, 2024 Report Posted October 3, 2024 When passing through the roundabout, l will stop and wait for the vehicles inside the roundabout to finish before leaving, When there are traffic lights, l will follow them, lf there are no traffic lights, l will follow the signs next to me.
Guest -TurboStar- Posted October 4, 2024 Report Posted October 4, 2024 from roundabout too, personally i find it better and faster, once passed the traffic lights you enter the highway and you're good to go, so always from roundabout
Foobrother Posted October 7, 2024 Report Posted October 7, 2024 https://www.highwaycodeuk.co.uk/road-junctions.html Check section 174 & 180 (that's UK version, you need to switch sides, but the rules are identical)
[SCM]Ξmpresive Posted October 15, 2024 Report Posted October 15, 2024 The location of the road is in an area where there are many players, the best choice on such roads would be to turn at the next intersection and continue on my way, all other possibilities are risky.
dajokr Posted October 21, 2024 Report Posted October 21, 2024 The way I would in real life...left lane, green light, turn when safe.
