First of all, welcomee to TruckersMP Forums at help section and thanks for sharing this question/issue!

My name is Rednub and I will do my best to answer your topic.

--------------------------

I'm goin to post you few solutions that might resolve your issue:

Solution 1 - Verify integrity of in-game files:

Verify your ETS2/ATS files in steam. (Steam -> Right Click ETS2/ATS2 -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files)

KernelBase.dll is a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) file stored in the system folder of Windows operating system

copy and paste this command in CMD and hit Enter: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Then copy and paste this command: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter

when it's completed use the sfc /scannow and press Enter.

if that fail's you can use one of these Microsoft approved DLL's here, Just make sure you have the correct version for your OS, i.e Architecture x64.

https://www.dll-files.com/kernelbase.dll.html , Without doing a windows reinstall or a game re install, the CMD commands or the DLL is the only options.

Additionaly:

If anything from posted solution above won't work for you, reinstall TruckersMP Launcher by follwoing:

Win+R -> %appdata% -> Delete TruckersMP folder.

C:\Program Files\ -> Delete the folder named TruckersMP Launcher.

Documents -> Delete ETS2MP and ATSMP folders.

Redownload the launcher from official TruckersMP website -> https://truckersmp.com/download

Launch as Admnistrator

Should you have any more question, feel free to ask right here  If your problem is not solved write here as soon as possible so we can help you further.

Hello @Vortex.TMP,

I can see that you're using two plugins - ScsSDKPopupBypass and ScsUnitTypeCheckBypass.

I would suggest you to temporarily remove these to make sure they are not causing the crash.

  • Open the "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win_x64/plugins" directory;
  • Move ScsSDKPopupBypass.dll and ScsUnitTypeCheckBypass.dll to some other directory (your desktop, for example)

In case you are still experiencing crashes even after removing those two plugins, some people were able to solve these crashes by using a new profile.
I understand that this might not be the solution you want, but if it works, it works.

Kind regards,

djoh

Hello there,

Thank you so much for your fast reply so I can give you some other solutions.

---

Regarding solutions I've posted above, in most cases it helps, not in this time. We'll do our best to help you.

As djoh said above that plugins might causing the crash. If it won't help despite the help given from djoh do followin:

Can you please make sure:

  • Your PC is running  newest version of Windows 10 / 11
  • You have updated your graphics drivers
  • Disable Background Applications: Sometimes, other software running in the background can cause conflicts or issues. To disable unnecessary background applications, right-click on the Taskbar, select "Task Manager," click on the "Startup" tab, and disable any applications that aren't required during gaming.

  • Reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributables: The Kernelbase.dll file is a part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable packages. You can try reinstalling these packages to fix any compatibility issues or corrupted files. Download the latest versions of these packages from the Microsoft website and install them one by one, starting with the oldest version.

Hope it goes back as soon as possible!

Have a good day,
