error when entering the game

help solve the problem with multiplayer. The game crashes with the error: application fatal error module: kernelbase.ddl or eurotruck2.exe. help solve this problem I have already reinstalled the game and the launcher, nothing helps

Here, I will post some possible solution for your issue: 

 

Solution 1:

Have you tried to verify your game?

> Go to Steam Library
> Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2
> Properties
> Local Files
> Verify Integrity of Game Files

Wait until the game files are verified and try whether the error still occurs.

 

Solution 2:

1. Right click ETS 2 in steam

2. Select 'Launch with OpenGL'

3. Let the game run and try going into game.

4. Exit the game and go back to steam, right click ETS 2 again but this time select 'Launch with DirectX (64-Bit)

5. Again go into game and then exit.

6. Start TruckersMP up and see if the game stops crashing

 

 

If it did not work, then I recommend you re-install TruckersMP Launcher with these steps: 

• Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
• Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)
• Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
• Go to documents and delete this folders called (ETS2MP, ATSMP) 
• Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
• Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/
• Open The Launcher with admin privileges and click "Install Available Updates"

 

 

After installing process, please click on TruckersMP Launcher icon on your desktop and launch it as administrator (right click - run as administrator)

I solved my own "Fatal Error" with these solutions, I hope these will work for you. To solve your problem, will be enough to do what I wrote here carefully;

 

Solution 1:

- Press the Windows key and R (Win+r) on your keyboard

- Enter "regedit" and press enter (without the quotes)

- Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy"

- Click "File"

- Click "Export"

- Save the file somewhere safe (eg. on your desktop) as a backup

- Once saved, double click on "Enabled"

- Set "Value data" to "0" (without the quotes)

- Press OK

- Close Registry editor and reboot

 

Solution 2:

1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard

2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes)

3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder

4. Go to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"

5. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher https://truckersmp.com/download/

6. Open the Launcher with as admin and click "Install Available Updates"

Looking at the problem you currently have, there are several option to solve it -- I will give you options that may solve your problem. 
 

1. Check if you have the latest updates for your system.
   Start -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Check for updates
2. Check Health of your windows files.
   -> You need to run cmd.exe by administrator.
   and provide prompts below.
   
   - dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
   - dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
   
   -> and at the end restart your PC.
3. Try to update your Graphic Drivers.

 

If none of the above points helped, then please send the logs, it will be much easier to check what exactly leads to this problem.

KernelBase.dll is a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) file stored in the system folder of Windows operating system

 

Copy and paste this command in CMD and hit Enter: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

 

Then copy and paste this command: Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter

 

When it's completed use the sfc /scannow and press Enter. 

 

if that fail's you can use one of these Microsoft approved DLL's here, Just make sure you have the correct version for your OS, i.e Architecture x64.

 

https://www.dll-files.com/kernelbase.dll.html, Without doing a windows reinstall or a game re install, the CMD commands or the DLL is the only options.
