• What is FPS? : It stands for Frames Per Second. The number of full-frame scans on your screen each second is displayed as an FPS value. A higher FPS value ensures that the image on the screen is played more smoothly.
• Why is TruckersMP FPS Low? : FPS Drop in TruckersMP is not a problem that occurs in everyone. Of course, for the FPS to be high, your system must be sufficient for the game. FPS drops when your system is stressed.
  Since there are too many players in TruckersMP, it will strain your system and you will experience FPS problems. This is a problem that many people have, and it really depends on the power of your system and how well it supports the game.
  If FPS is low, let's increase it together...
  We are progressing step by step;

 

1. Lower Game Graphics: When the game's graphics are high, your system is forced to provide a better quality image to your screen. Because of this, FPS may drop. Instead of lowering your graphics settings completely to the lowest, you can lower them one level below the setting you are using. You can find the graphics setting that suits you by checking your FPS value by changing all the options.
2. Background Applications: Some applications may run in the background while our game is open. While your system is working for the game, it also runs for applications in the background and puts a strain on your system. Therefore, you can increase FPS by closing your background applications.
3. Windows Game Mode: We can increase FPS by making our computers suitable for gaming. One of the methods for this is to put our computer in Game mode.
   To switch to game mode: Windows Settings>Game>Game Mode
   You can open it by clicking on the option in this location.
4. Turning Off Uploads and Scans: Scans and downloads such as Virus scanning, Game downloading, File scanning in the background while playing your game slow down your system. Therefore, pause these scans and downloads before entering the game.
5. TruckersMP In-Game Setting: There is a distance setting in TruckersMP. This is a setting that allows you to choose from what distance you will see distant players. You can lower or raise this setting as you wish. Don't forget! We need to lower this setting to increase FPS.
   To access the setting: TAB>Settings>Graphics>Draw Distance

When you make these 5 settings, FPS will definitely increase.
