Guest -TurboStar- Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 Didnt really tried it yet in beta, im waiting for the full release for TMP, but definetly looking forward to that, cant wait to see the reworked cities
Sis'Luna Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 I visited all of Switzerland and the reconstructed German part and it's a good job. what I like the most is the significantly reduced teleport loading time 1
_europeantrucks_ Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 im already afraid of the new interface
Tеddy Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 Hello, @ADEM.KERİM I like the interface update, as epic as the old interface was I was thinking it was time for a change and I think I'm happy that we have a nice and updated interface, obviously the Germany and Switzerland arrangement looks great and of course the scania demo area is very well thought out and I think updates like this take the game to a higher level. I wish you good forums. 1 Sincerely, Teddy Truckers MP - Community Moderator Create Report | Appeal Ban | Feedback System | Support System | Event Request | Rules | Meet the Team | Recruitment
MakeMe Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 It has broken my radio next button, before I could do a full cycle, now I have to use previous button to get to the 1st radio. And yes, someone already reported this on scs forum, before 1.50 release.
Sunstrider Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 I'm looking forward to the new Duisburg. And the community complaints that will follow. You know how the community is when CD Road has an overhaul, they don't like it. Same for when they do Belgium & Netherlands. Finally gives me a reason to go to Switzerland.
Guest Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 Its Just Awesome to see new UI as well as updated graphics!
GarrettJAT Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 The new UI looks incredibly good, we just need to get used to it as for everything new. Swiss rework, good one, especially because it's free of charge.
Madanakin01 Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 for me I can't really play cause when I go on it for SP there are parts of roads that are missing and would fall through the map if don't stop in time and there are parts of the map that are missing completely next to the roads (NVM) discovered it was Grimes weather mod that was causing the issue for me)
Hawkmusen Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 It looks nice, but there may be problems in terms of performance. 25 GB update is a large size.
Snow Sheltie Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 The new menu I could describe in a few different words. It looks bland, corporatized, looks like something straight out of Microsoft Excel. Why can't I see from a glance if I am attached to a trailer or not? It just begs the question I frequently find myself asking about old games receiving oddball "upgrades" like this that really don't do much, if anything, to improve the game experience itself, just ends up making things either unnecessarily complicated or just rearranges things around for honestly no good reason. I've had similar gripe with some steam updates in the past, mostly ones adding unnecessary crap to my library that I honestly don't care about and went through the trouble of disabling. I took a quick screenshot of both menus from the new update and from ATS. I'm failing to see exactly who the new menu setup is appealing to, it certainly isn't appealing to me. 1

The only downsides are that some things are a few more clicks away than they were before, but that's not hard to get used to. I found things in the menu that I didn't know existed through this new system jess.thetrain appeal a ban | appeal an appeal | make someone else appeal | game not working? click here | want the manager? click here
ButtonUK Posted May 18, 2024 Report Posted May 18, 2024 To be honest, the old interface was easier to access; maybe it's because I was used to the old interface. The new interface is just looking modern, but I still have to get used to it; so far, it's confusing. But I really like the new Switzerland rework; it looks really good and I love driving there already, hope to see the 1.50 being added to TMP any time soon. 1
Davina Posted May 20, 2024 Report Posted May 20, 2024 I don't think anything of it as I'm still on 1.49 whe I finish my current profiles' drives. Then I'll upgrade. Want to try out the lane keep assist.
