Kind regards: My question is if quick response selection can only be used in convoy mode or can it also be used in MP And how can I write quickly while driving so that the steering wheel doesn't lock up? THANK YOU SO MUCH

Thank you for your question. We have considered implementing the Quick Chat feature into TruckersMP in the past, but we have not explored this possibility further. The main problem with this system is the localized messages used by the Prism3D engine itself, which our chat does not support. Furthermore, as we can imagine, this would be primarily used in convoys where the communication should use a common language, such as English, which would go against our principles. Nevertheless, we may consider creating a similar system just for TruckersMP in the future.

 

For the second part of your question, as far as I am aware, the steering wheel should not lock up when you are typing in the chat unless you use a keyboard to steer the vehicle. If that is the case, there is sadly nothing we can do about it; the keyboard must be logically used for typing in the chat, not for driving.
