Suggestion Name: High speed limits for PKW (cars)

Suggestion Description: Just limit it to 150 for cars in the default server because no one really drives 90 on the highway

Why should it be added?: Realism, no one drives 90 on a highway with a car

First, you have server with 150km/h already, all you people need to just switch.

Second, the "default" server is limited to 110km/h, which is already mayhem.

I don't think it would be a good idea, even though I'm in favor of simulation. Most of the reports of TruckersMP are of players driving the car. If even with the expiration limit there is a high demand, imagine if it was increased or taken away?

For players who like high speed., TMP offers two servers: Simulation 2 and Arcade.

If the cars acted like they weighed almost nothing compared to trucks and did not all that much damage as they do IRL, it wouldn't be too terrible to increase the speed in places where the speed limit itself is higher than 110kmh.

 

Unfortunately with the way collisions work ingame (as well as the way some of the players behave ingame) it doesn't make much sense to do anything like that.

I really hope cars get PERMANENTLY DELETED from this game since it doesn't make any sense having them and who use cars are idiot,think to be ""smart"" overtaking always and everywhere,especially when there's traffic jams or upcoming vehicles in front and making big accidents.

Sim 2 has a speed limiter of 150. With the exception of staff, no one can exceed the speed limiter of 110.

 

Learn from the OG version of the car. It's lightweight and can't be controlled at higher speed. Which, was a highly dense trolling tool.

From a realistic simulation point of view, I support your suggestion.
Passenger vehicles can and usually drive faster than trucks.

 

In TruckersMP however the car'a physics model needs to be adjusted to realistic settings first.

The majority of this community would love to hear about higher speed limits for passenger vehicles.

This is bad advice. Cars will only bring chaos. Raising the speed limit will only bring more accidents. This is not good advice

I hardly ever drive a Skoda as I see it as a truck simulator, of course the diversity of cars on the line which is encouraging, but when you travel to the vehicle dense areas you will find most of the smug Skodas destroying the road and even causing damage to your truck, I don't agree with the increase in speed of the vehicles, instead the speed limit limits the wantonness of these Skodas accordingly. I find from my recent recordings that most Skodas are destroying truck operations .

Thanks for your suggestion! We are not looking forward to increasing the speed limit of vehicles on the Simulation 1 server.

 

If you would like to drive at a higher speed, the limit on the Simulation 2 server is 150 km/h, and there is no limit on the Arcade server.
