Escubi Posted August 23, 2023 Report Posted August 23, 2023 My idea is to put a sign on top of the driver's car, where the roof tops go, to be able to inform the other drivers. For example, accident, accident near, stopped car, traffic jam near... It can be a very good idea to facilitate the security of others without the need of admins. Is like put a sign in the road like they put in calais, but faster, because the player that have the pilot car see it, stops and put the text that inform the danger. I draw an idea, but is a very simple draw, is only to imaginate how it can be.

This is a quite difficult task for the Add-On team to bring ingame. Furthermore, this might encourage players to abuse their cars to backseat moderate more, which is would be causing more problems than solving them. Nice drawing btw 1

First of all, the opinion and opinion you have given is valuable for us. You want to have a system to prevent an accident or traffic jam on the road you are driving on. For this, I would like to tell you about the Trucky App, which works in harmony with TruckersMP. truckyapp (here you can examine the application) With this application, players have the authority to interact with each other and report mutually. If there is an accident or traffic jam on the road you have travelled, the player can report it with a shortcut key and notify us. During the game, the application sends us a notification and provides us with the details of the event that occurred and allows us to prevent the negativity that may occur. This video contains information that you can basically check server status and traffic. This application is not only for reporting events, but also contains all the details of the vehicle you have driven, all the information of the consignments you have carried, and all the details up to your delivery time set with the real world. 1

Al3ksik Posted August 23, 2023 Report Posted August 23, 2023 I like the idea, I think though just to keep it extra safe away from trollls it should be only put in place for Patrons for a few days to see how it goes and put rules in place regarding abusing this feature 1

HOWEVER, trying to read these info signs would be incredibly difficult for everyone to see. Not everyone uses a 24" display above 1080p. Trying to read these signs below this would be extremely difficult. Like said before it would make more people backseat moderate, and use these signs to troll. 1

However, we will have to decline it for the following reasons: A dynamic sign that displays text you can change while driving is not an existing feature in the game. The sign would most likely be too small to be read from a distance, and wouldn't really be useful. We do not want to facilitate backseat moderation through this add-on.
