Many people drive with the mouse, and you cannot report via tab due to you need to full stop your truck cuz it will stop in the middle of the road if you want to report someone due to the right click which usually it is brake.
/report [ID] [REASON]
Reasons can be in a short form for fast report like
Reckless Driving - /report 1234 RD
Collisions - /report 1234 C
Insulting - /report 1234 I
Hacking - /report 1234 H
etc.

Hey there! 🙂

Thank you for making your suggestion here

I honestly think that this already been suggested a few times here at forums and it was always declined. However, since a lot of players ride a mouse, it could serve as an easier thing for them

Here is an example of same suggestion:

Have a great day!

Hello, since the intensity is too high, it will probably not be of interest.
If you always have a video recording, if you can record the events live, all you have to do is stand in a suitable place or you can handle your work more easily as you will have the chance to browse the player profile at the end of the game.

To text while driving is dangerous, because it distracts the driver from the traffic situation and increases the risk of causing an accident.

Don't text and drive!

Be smart, play safe and stop your vehicle at a safe location to send your in-game report.

Besides of that, the TruckersMP team should first take care of the elephant in the room, namely the highly ineffective in-game report system.

Due to the 10 minutes time frame limitation that a game moderator has to claim an in-game report, most of these reports aren't claimed at all and are lost.

The in-game report system therefore should include either the option to safe the evidence to be claimed later or to send the evidence to the web report system.

Just thinking aloud...

Be smart, play safe and stop your vehicle at a safe location to send your in-game report. Still the thing that wheel drivers can do it while driving doesnt change this fact. There can be a short form like /rep 1234 RD and you can type it fast. Its annoying to stop everytime to report someone. It would be useful to be there.

It would be faster with command. If someone is online, it can be banned in that minute. With recording, the process is harder. Search in the video the exact moment, cut video, send with exact time date etc, wait for approval. If you report in-game and nobody takes the report, yes, you can do it on website, but if there is someone online, why not to make this process faster?

I'm glad we're on the same page here.

Just because some drivers think they can do other things while driving without crashing on the first occasion doesn't mean it is safe to do so.

Do you actually know how the in-game report system basically works?
After a player sends an in-game report, a game moderator (who has to be online at that time) has 10 minutes to claim the report and take corresponding actions. If the moderator fails to claim the report, it will be lost, including all evidence. As you can imagine, it's not only you who send in-game reports, but many other players too. Depending on how many moderators are online, their workload can be so high that they can't respond to all in-game reports in time.

And changing the way in-game reports are sent doesn't improve or change the inefficiency of this system at all.

Yeah i know how the report system works. This command wont change it, it adds the reports to the actual system report. Instead of opening tab select player report etc, u just use a command that sends the informations like the classic tab report. I understand that the workload can be high, but this command wont change to a higher or lower workload, its just an easier way to report people. People who want to spam the system can still do it with the tab option.
