CaptainCat. Posted April 8, 2023 Report Posted April 8, 2023 Hello, I have noticed that the new server Simulation 2 has pretty much slots remaining (around 1500 at peak hours) and there is a pretty big queue in Sim1 so my suggestion is to decrease Sim2 capacity from 3000 to 2000 and increase Sim1 from 3000 back to 4000
Guest muri's Posted April 8, 2023 Report Posted April 8, 2023 Hi, There is a reason for the limit placed on servers. Most importantly, it is necessary to have a main server that can handle so many people. Which is just *as far as I know* it would be a bit difficult for them to buy such servers with donations and their own money. In addition, they need a larger team than the current team to deal with so many people and it is very difficult to manage such a large staff. There is no difference between Sim1 AND Sim2 other than the speed limit. In fact, extra events can be made for the Sim2 server to have more people. if 1000 players came as Extra, it would fill the existing map completely and 85% would use the Duisburg - Calais road. We see how full the roads are when there are 3000 people, and when 1000 more people are added to this, we will definitely not be able to drive the truck. Best wishes, Muri
Jeroen Posted April 8, 2023 Report Posted April 8, 2023 We are continuously monitoring demand, as announced earlier in this blog. We have taken note of the current player distribution across Simulation 1 and 2, and will be making adjustments soon. In the light of those intentions, I will accept your suggestion. // Accepted 1 1 1
Jeroen Posted April 21, 2023 Report Posted April 21, 2023 We have increased the slots for Simulation 1 to 4,000 players now, in accordance with the demand we have measured over the past 3 weeks. 1 1
