Save Gone Everytime

Due to my low storage space problem, i have to uninstall ETS 2 when i'm freeing up space or playing something else. Regardless, when i return my last played profile is gone. I haven't deleted any profiles from documents and i have steam cloud enabled. I don't want to have to start a new profile everytime i'm craving some trucking.

To enable Steam Cloud, you need to do two steps:

 

Steam Client:

• From the Steam Library, right click on the game and select "Properties".
• Under the "General" tab, the Cloud Synchronization setting can be toggled.

 

In-game:

• Start the game and from the Launchpad select "Manage Profiles".
• Select an existing profile and click "Edit Profile", or create a "New Profile", and toggle "Use Steam Cloud". You need to do this for each individual profile.

 

When Steam Cloud is enabled your profiles will be stored locally as well:

Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata

MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata

Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata

Actually the cloud allows your game to use the storage to save your profile or save and vice versa, when we create the new profile we have the option to enable the cloud or not, I myself do not enable it and have my profile and save all regardless of whether I uninstall the game or not, try doing that too and see if it works for you, have a nice day.
