Guest Nebula Logistics//MRV-md
Suggestion Name: Ability to adjust brightness of heads up display Suggestion Description: Using the F4 dashboard light adjustment, players can tweak the brightness of the heads up display. Any example images: N/a Why should it be added?: As of right now, at certain times of the day, it can get hard to see parts of the display. As someone who tries to drive without the in game display, it gets tricky to see when drivers ahead have had an accident, or where my next turn is
Hawkmusen
The idea is good, yes but for now I think it will not be possible to develop it.
MarkON
A valid observation. Looking at the settings structure, it seems to me that it may be more a slider in the TruckersMP: Menu TAB (Graphics) than in the SCS settings under F4. Anyway, I hope the developers manage to implement it
mdshahid6540
The dashboard light and the heads-up display (HUD) use different algorithms. So, the dashboard light does not have any effect on HUD. However, with your feedback, we have worked on brightness and we have made the necessary changes. And you can expect to see the updated version in our next release. 1 3
Granite [SVK]
And the rain makes it illegible smudge on the windshield, what about that?

This problem exists in all headup display. Even steam workshop mods have similar probelm . I think it is the limitation.
Guest Nebula Logistics//MRV-md
It's probably the way it's built. Must be a part of the windshield itself that causes the smudging. I'm gonna see how it's placed on the truck and try figure out how it might be fixed In theory it's just a few floats. I think the main problem would be making the menu for tweaking it. Stones8000
I completely agree with the idea, as it can be hard to see the HUD at times. Stones8000
Krewlex
Hello, Thank you for the suggestion! As of the 23rd March, the brightness of the HUD has increased. We hope this made the text and map easier to identify while driving. As of the 5th June, a simplified version of the HUD was released, without the mini-map display, and just having the text. Beneficial for those that want to enjoy a streamlined appearance. Safe travels! Regards, Krewlex Community Manager // Completed
