Keep needing to download an update before launching the game

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a known issue or not but everytime I open up the TruckersMP launcher it keeps telling me that I need to download a new update. I click Download Update anyways and I am able to launch the game soon after, but it happens every time I want to play multiplayer and it's kind of annoying. Am I the only one getting this?

Hello there,

 

If you have the correct path for TruckersMP launcher. Try click on "Installation up-to-date" to verify launcher files after the update finished. Then you won't get "Download Update" every time you start the launcher.

It seems that you are missing some permissions for your Windows account. Try to start the launcher as administrator and see if it works. If not, please check if the TruckersMP folder in Appdata/Roaming is "read only". If so, try to undo this.
(Default folder path "%appdata%\TruckersMP\" or C:\User\WINDOWSACCOUNTNAME\AppData\Roaming\TruckersMP [change WINDOWSACCOUNTNAME to your Windows user name]).

What do you have "TruckersMP installation directory" set to?

Typical recommendation is to set it to C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP and see if helps.

 

Also, try to launch TruckersMP as administrator may be needed as well.
