Why does my transmission suddenly go into N when I'm not trying to put it in gear (g29+th8a)?

hello.

 

if you are using a g29 steering wheel check that your pedals are clean, sometimes the dirt in that sector makes contact and well it sends it to N automatically.

I'm telling you because I also have the same configuration and well, I hope that what I mentioned will help you.

In the Controls tab you can check the assigned axes. If the clutch axis is spiking, you may need to clean the pedal set. Try increasing the clutch range if possible, so the gear switch won't occur randomly when clutch isn't pressed down. Also, you might want to adjust the deadzone of the clutch axis to compensate for inaccuracy caused by dirty potentiometer in the clutch module of the pedal set. 

 

If you want to ask anywhere on forums whenever 32-bit version of MP will be supported in future, try to start GTA V on your 32-bit machine before checking game's system requirements.
