What do you think is the best way to build up a healthy diverse and active VTC?

I am new to the whole forum life. So forgive me if my posts are too long and waffle on...like now!

I would be really interested to hear from the community with regard to my question. I often see new members asking for help on how to get drivers for their newly formed shiny VTC on our discord chats. When I see such requests I normally sigh. ?

My experience and knowledge of VTC's comes from what I have picked up over the years both on TMP and Discord. I have only ever been in one VTC for a whole week, before the two other members had a parting of ways ? and it all fizzled out. However on a plus side I have seen a lot of VTC's thrive and grow into really good TMP sub-communities. I normally recommend the player socialise with other players via the in-game text chat (Press "Y") and along with chatting they can promote their VTC. I imagine attempting to socialise in the C-D area would be somewhat tricky, especially on the cb radio. I also suggest they use the streaming channels on the TMP discord where they are likely to come across players who either often don't know what a VTC is or haven't yet joined one. Obviously the channel should not be abused by VTC's hard selling their companies ? . However apart from recruiting eager new drivers, you also get to meet other bold people who pop on to see what is happening.

There are plenty of other things I believe will lead to a successful VTC, but I would like to hear what you think. Perhaps not just to achieve success but also to maintain it. Let's share some of the wisdom, as in the end the more well run, friendly VTC's that are created, the  better for all of the TMP community.

If you haven't yet tried it, just join one of the streaming channels on the TMP Discord if you see someone  streaming (even me if you are unlucky) or even better still if nobody is streaming, hop on and stream your own game. Believe it can be fun!

Hey there and welcome!

In my eyes the most important thing to build up a healthy VTC is the motivation and the ambition of the creator.

If the creator isn't convinced of what he wants to achieve it will only go downhill/stay as it is.

Then there's the question of what's the actual goal of your VTC. Do you want your VTC to radiate high professionalism or

is your VTC meant to just be a fun environment for people to come together?

Secondly things like being active (e.g. attending events while representing your vtc in a good light) and

just overall 'advertising' come to place. Another thing that has to be considered is obviously how the members

of your VTC are treated. Not like in terms of things to offer, but more as in how you treat them internally.

If a person stays in your VTC for how the environment feels and not for what you have to offer, then you know you

are doing a good job. Sure, things like a custom website, custom tracker, custom drivers hub, etc. are nice

additions. But those things are not what makes a good VTC, a good VTC. It's all the members behind it

and how everyone complies with each other.

This is my view on this topic. Excited to see what other members have to say ?

Best Regards.

Zysto

Have a nice day!

Hello Da Jay,
How are you?

I've been in the TMP community for a while now and fortunately these things of creating and/or joining a VTC have grown at a tremendous rate, but I think there is one thing that has been lost over time, at least I think so.
The simulation and the socializing. I see companies where the important thing is to drive to win x prize on x platform, but then where is the simulation and socializing?
When I joined the TMP community, the companies had much fewer ways to advertise themselves, i.e., there was much more work in recruiting and also in socializing (due to the few ways to recruit, etc). Today, every company has a Discord server, a website, and they already think that this is a company, and for me this is not a real company...

For me a real company is mainly based on socializing, fun and simulation.

In no way do I want to disrespect any company that is delivering in "race mode".

Regards. ❤️

Hello

You must have 3 most important aspects for a VTC to flow normally.

1. Have a group of friends to help you with the administrative part and the recruitment process.

2. Be as friendly as possible with your new members and give them that confidence so that they feel comfortable, that is, 0 toxicity.

3. the most important of all, always have patience so that they see your interest that they learn.

Best Regards.

Quiber

I think the most important thing is that the VTC has a diverse range of activities, and clear positions

                                                                Language: Chinese/English

Hello truck driver.

So there are 2 types of VTCs they are just a group of friends and acquaintances who all have the same passion to play and have fun and then there are VTCs that are focused on ranking.that their interest is to get the best position on the platforms that count km.

We're talking about 1, it will always be more fun and you'll have a group willing to do events and attend other's events. In the 2 case it can also be fun but from experience you will get to a point where doing only km will tire you and you will get tired of ETS/TMP

I am the leader of a VTC and I can say that it is better to have a group of friends than to have a VTC focused on km. ETS is a game to have fun not to see who is the best. It's my opinion.
