Tab option not working

Hi,

 

I am new to truckersmp but not to ETS2 I have been online today but for some reason I cannot activate the tab menu I have tried everything I have found previously using F11 doesn't work reinstalling doesn't work I am using windows 11 is that what the problem could be. I have tried re asigning the Tab to a different button but still nothing happens any help would be awesome do I need a CB actually in my truck could that be it ?

Hello @HARVEYAYRFAN89,

Have you connected to the server successfully? Tab menu works only if you are playing online on any of the TMP servers. If you have connected to the server successfully, try to press F11. F11 key is to hide names, TAB menu and speed limit notices and when you leave/enter no collision zones.

Hello there,

 

If the above doesn't work, please uninstall and re-install your TruckersMP launcher, by following the below instructions:

 

1. Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
2. Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (without the quotes (""))
3. Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
5. Navigate to C:\Documents\ and delete the folders named "ETS2MP" and "ATSMP"
6. Go to our website and re-download and install the Launcher with admin privileges https://truckersmp.com/download/

On the first picture you'll see 'Select Destination Location'. This is where to install the TruckersMP launcher.
I advise you not to touch it ?

 

Other than that, there's nothing else to worry about, just follow the rest of the instructions, and you should be good to go ?
