DBus Line Creator

 

Hello truckers or bus drivers! 

 

I am pleased to present the bus lines creator to DBus Client, created in less than 70 hours. 

Instead of manually modifying text files, thanks to this application you have the ability to quickly create routes in an interactive "window". 

 

The base of the stops is based on the published sheet and is aimed primarily at playing on TruckersMP servers.

The application currently supports three languages: English, Polish, German and Portuguese. 

If you want to help translating into your language - feel free to contact me in a PM on the forum or on Discord (Fadex#1111). 

 

If you encounter any problems, please contact me or write a comment on this topic. 

Important: the lines you create currently don't have mileage and time between stops, but this doesn't affect the gameplay in any way. 

The application was developed on the Electron platform and tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).

Quick question , i havent tried yet but what happens if you select a city that doesnt have a bus station? Or the program itself only allows to select cities with bus stations?

the application only has cities with bus stops. Not all cities are there.

- updated cities list: removed Tallinn, Tartu, Helsinki, Turku, Liepaja and Saint Petersburg for no currently known reason, they were removed from the publicly available list

Thanks for the information! Would you be able to get some virus detection logs? Out of curiosity, I would check what it sees, unlike VirusTotal, which detected nothing  If you can't make it - no problem, just asked.

If you want to test you can download avast it's free and you will see that it is detected as a virus because I can't find the detection report on avast and I reported it (normally that your file is not fraudulent)

Ohh, I know I can download Avast, but I checked the file on internet detectors that also have Avast's verification engine and found nothing. But never mind that. 

I haven't tested DBus on promods, but it should work the same as on regular TMP servers.

I don't think it doesn't work in Promods, because there are no cities in Promods.

Also it can Create new Routes ex. (To from New Hannover) , and with the Upcomming ProMods 2.62 also  ?

I can't save my lines, every time I try I get this error:

 

 

The path to the DBus Client is correct, though. Your program even showed that the path was set correctly when I did it the first time.

Running it as administrator doesn't change anything.

 

EDIT: I got it working. The problem was I set the path to the client itself (where the .exe is located) rather than the path in my documents folder.

Hello, 

 

When the DBus stops database is updated, I will update the application. Currently, I don't have direct access to ETS2 due to the trip, but I can modify the stops remotely, because the list is stored on the server and it is downloaded to the client via API. 

 

It seems to me that the app doesn't currently need to be updated, as long as the positions of the stops haven't changed after the update. If they have changed, I recommend choosing other routes in time until new data are available.
